About the Owner: Tiffany Malena

I’ve been dancing since the age of 2-1/2 and it has gone from a past-time, to a passion, to a career. I began teaching dance classes in high school and my own studio, “Steps at Tiffany’s” was born in July of 2007. In December 2007, I graduated from Wayne State College with majors in Business Management and Human Resource Management. I do all of the teaching, chore

ography, and costuming for Steps at Tiffany’s. My classes are combination classes in that your dancer does not have to choose one form of dance, but learns a variety of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop throughout the lessons. My goals in owning my studio are to continuously create a positive atmosphere where all of my dancers not only learn dance, but also gain confidence, grace, and poise. I love what I do, and do what I love and feel so blessed to share the gift of dance. �

When I’m not dancing, you’ll find me with my husband Sean of 13 years who supports me every step of the way; our little ballerinas: Emery (9) and Everly (5); and the future curtain puller: Creed (2).

The week is here!!! Weekly dance starts back up this week, beginning tomorrow, September 9!!! So excited to see the dancers again, as well as the new dancers starting their dance adventure with me. Unbelievable to think that this season marks over half of my life doing what I love and teaching children to dance. 🫶🏻Time flies when you’re having fun! It is my solemn prayer to always shower all of my dancers with love and positivity in teaching them to dance, which fits the positive vibes theme this season! 😍

Please note when arriving to dance, Main Street in Clarkson is tore up for a complete overhaul. There is parking on the east side of the road only. Drop off may need to be done at the end of the block south of the studio. It’ll be a process, but so nice when done. As the shirt says, “Dance: Positive Vibes Only!” Here’s to SEASON 18!! 💜🩷🩵

Shout out to my graduating seniors: Alyssa Gurnsey and Gracelyn Eisenmann on their final performance with me after 15 years, as well as Macy Clausen who already is in college and had her last performance at Czech Days. Good morning!!

Couple updates: Registration forms and dance team information was emailed to all current dance families in June. The deadline for registration and dance team tryouts is July 15. You can return via email, mail, or text. Registration for lessons will open up to new dancers after this date.

Noah has mailed the recital DVD’s so watch your mailboxes if you ordered a hard copy!

Happy Thanksgiving! It is tradition for every dancer to say what they are thankful for at our last weekly class before Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for my dancers and to be able to share the gift of dance that makes the soul smile! Thank you to my helper, Macy who captured some of what the Tuesday dance classes are thankful for and put together this fun clip! 😊 Grateful, thankful, and blessed. ❤️

No dance today 3/2 or next Monday, 3/6 for spring break! Now, ordering some spring weather 😆

The calendar has flipped over to 2023!! Bring on Recital #16 for 2023!! {May 20 & May 21} Also, a reminder - weekly dance lessons resume next Monday, January 9! Soooo excited to see everyone after break and start recital routines! 😍🥳

In December 2007, I graduated from Wayne State College with degrees in Business Management and Human Resource Management. After thirteen seasons of dance, I am excited about beginning season 14! I do all of the teaching, choreography, and costuming for Steps at Tiffany’s. My classes are combination classes in that dancers do not have to choose one form of dance, but will learn them all throughout the lessons. There are various classes offered for dancers age 2-18. The styles taught include: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. My goals in owning my studio are to continuously create a positive environment where all my dancers not only learn dance, but also gain confidence, grace, and poise. I love what I do, and do what I love and feel so blessed to share the gift of dance.

When I’m not dancing, you’ll find me with my husband Sean and our two little girls, Emery & Everly, who are my true dancing inspirations, and our brand new baby boy, Creed. Thanks for stopping by!
