To our wonderful clients,
Since the opening of The Chapman Room, we have taken great pride in striving to create an clean, welcoming environment for our clients to enjoy while entertaining guests and making it feel like a home away from home. We’ve provided complimentary items, as well as offered many exclusive rental items and are adding more as time goes on.
We are a very small, side business ran by a father/daughter duo in our spare time. We each have our own full time jobs, and then some, but make sure we do our best to accommodate every unique event.
There have been past events, with prior instruction given, that has left the building, adjacent play yard to another business, and the parking lot in an unsatisfactory state and creating not only intense cleaning, but significant weekly repairs to the walls and flooring.
Beginning today, Sunday, 1/22/2023, all further bookings will be required to secure a credit card on file at final payment. In lieu of raising our prices to avoid these kinds of experiences, a $150 cleaning fee will be charged, along with pics to the Responsible event host of the mess left behind for records. *This will only be charged in the event that The Chapman Room is left in a state beyond the required details required in our contracts.
Our contracts and pricing menu will be updated to reflect this change.
We are very sorry for this inconvenience, but after many times of trying to solve the issue otherwise, this action must be taken make it possible to continue to serve the community with this event space.
