The sun is out in Tennessee today, can’t help but think about a Tea Party. Then you walk outside and it’s 40 something degrees. I’ll always be grateful for a day of sunshine, no matter how cold it may be outside. It has taken me a lot of internal work and doing things the hard way for many years. Today I am able to see the beauty in the little things, find gratitude amidst the storm, and have a Tea Party in the sunshine wearing my down coat. That’s my hope for all of you, my friends. We have over 500 teacups and saucers and hundreds of teapots for you to find what fits your fancy. Host your first Tea Party this year with a little help from us. I promise it will be everything you have dreamed of and more.

We have a large selection of serving pieces. From simple, budget friendly pieces to elegant masterpieces. Whatever suits your fancy, we have one. Most likely we have three. Here are just a few examples, from a classic King Tom Ironstone platter to a vintage silver Art Deco wine cooler. The Vintage Indiana Glass punch bowl and Italian Soup Tureen covered in gold gilt are pretty fabulous as well.

It all came together perfectly. If you are looking for a classic, timeless color palette. Mixing our vast Blue and White Vessel Collection with The Simply Gold dinnerware is a showstopper. This Bride knew exactly what she wanted and it executed perfectly.
I must admit though, the Bride outshined everything. She was absolutely beautiful.

Our Garden Collection is full of delicate pastels and intricate hand painted designs. Largely composed of antique/vintage English China our Garden Collection is full of Minton, Spode, Wedgwood, Masons, Royal Copenhagen, Portmeirion and many more.
I have always been drawn to beautiful, old things. It brings my old soul such happiness. In fact, my vast, carefully curated collection is what led me to start Prince and Junes. Sharing my treasures of times past, and a touch of their history with you guys brings me such joy.

A little bit about Antique English bone china. A great majority of pieces are characterized by the delicate designs, amazing translucence, and their incredible uniqueness. In turn, making them timeless works of art.
The process for making bone china was originated by Josiah Spode in England in about 1800.
Surprisingly durable, as it comes from actual bone. The basic formula consists of six parts bone ash, four parts china stone, and three and a half parts china clay. This formula has remained largely unchanged today.

The only thing that can make these depression glass goblets look prettier, is when Whitney Erin photographs them. Each one of these glasses holds a story within, probably the primary reason I love old things as much as I do. Here is a few fun facts about depression glass and it’s beginning.

The Great Depression certainly marked the end of the glamorous, champagne-filled Roaring ’20s era of excess, but that doesn’t mean everything during that period was drab and colorless. Enter Depression Glass, the cheery-hued, inexpensive glassware of the 1930’s.
Produced largely between 1929 to 1941, depression glass pieces were either given away for free or sold for little more than pennies.

Around twenty manufacturers made about 100 different patterns during The Great Depression, and people scrambled to spruce up their dining rooms with everything from pink ashtrays and yellow candlesticks to technicolor-looking matching dinnerware
sets. Of course, fine crystal continued to be made during this period, but it certainly didn’t keep pace with colored Depression Glass.
