Why Hire A Wedding Coordinator?
You’ve planned your wedding - researched & hired every vendor, created your menu, your design vision, your invitations, picked your dress and your cake flavors. You’ve carefully considered every detail….
And then you start working on a timeline - you’re doing hair & makeup for 2-3 hours in the morning, getting dressed, and taking photos with your photographer until the ceremony begins - so who is going to set up the decorations? Okay, bridesmaids and family can help with that - but wait, they need to get their hair and makeup done too and you would really love them in the photos…
Now it’s the day of - you’re getting ready to do your first look and your phone is going off because your caterer and bartender have arrived and are wondering where to set up. They also need those items you purchased beforehand moved to their space. Oh, and the DJ needs a chair…and who is in charge of ice?
Fast forward - the ceremony is about to start and you are hidden away so no one can see you in your dress. Where is everyone else? Did the vendors all get here? Is the space decorated? It’s time to line up and there are guests still congregating outside the ceremony site. Does everyone remember what order they are walking in? The processional music begins….
And now it’s time for the cocktail hour - the guest book and memorial tables need to be moved into the reception space but your family and wedding party are taking photos with you….wait, where is Aunt Marge?
…..at this point, do I even need to go into the reception?
There are so many pieces to a wedding that’s it’s nearly impossible to handle them all yourself and still enjoy the experience.
