Traveled up to Red River Gorge, KY this week to help one of my beautiful best friends marry the man of her dreams! 💍✨🤍
Talon and I met nearly a decade ago living in California and quickly became best friends. We have experienced so much life together - babies, career changes, relationships, cross-country moves….so when Zack proposed, I couldn’t WAIT to embark on the wedding planning adventure with her. We planned a sweet, intimate elopement at Events at Hemlock Springs and laid-back cabin reception with a few of their closest friends & family. It was the most perfect day, surrounded by good people and good vibes. Carmen Elizabeth Photo + Film slayed the wedding photo/video, did an amazing job on the bouquets and arch pieces, and Amanda with Off The Beaten Path Event & Cleaning Services, L.L.C had us all in happy tears by the end of the ceremony.
I literally couldn’t be happier for these two and their beautiful little family 💜🩵

I am absolutely in love with this trend! A first touch allows the couple to have a private, intimate moment before they walk down the aisle, without spoiling the surprise of seeing each other. Not only is it a beautiful photo opportunity, this time can also be used to read letters or vows you’ve written to each other, or even exchange gifts.

Why Hire A Wedding Coordinator?
You’ve planned your wedding - researched & hired every vendor, created your menu, your design vision, your invitations, picked your dress and your cake flavors. You’ve carefully considered every detail….
And then you start working on a timeline - you’re doing hair & makeup for 2-3 hours in the morning, getting dressed, and taking photos with your photographer until the ceremony begins - so who is going to set up the decorations? Okay, bridesmaids and family can help with that - but wait, they need to get their hair and makeup done too and you would really love them in the photos…
Now it’s the day of - you’re getting ready to do your first look and your phone is going off because your caterer and bartender have arrived and are wondering where to set up. They also need those items you purchased beforehand moved to their space. Oh, and the DJ needs a chair…and who is in charge of ice?
Fast forward - the ceremony is about to start and you are hidden away so no one can see you in your dress. Where is everyone else? Did the vendors all get here? Is the space decorated? It’s time to line up and there are guests still congregating outside the ceremony site. Does everyone remember what order they are walking in? The processional music begins….
And now it’s time for the cocktail hour - the guest book and memorial tables need to be moved into the reception space but your family and wedding party are taking photos with you….wait, where is Aunt Marge?
…..at this point, do I even need to go into the reception?
There are so many pieces to a wedding that’s it’s nearly impossible to handle them all yourself and still enjoy the experience.

Another beautiful summer wedding weekend in middle Tennessee!
This couple was married last year before the grooms deployment but they were finally able to share their love with their friends and family this weekend. There were custom cocktails named after their pups provided by the Eventender, a chips and dip grazing table and a phenomenal taco bar from Marge’s Tacos…and the vintage popcorn bar was a major hit!
My favorite moment was when the French and American guests had a friendly national anthem sing-off after the send-off 🇫🇷❤️🇺🇸
