Hello friends! I am so grateful for all the prayers, messages and texts! I had the rotator cuff surgery last Wednesday and I am so so thankful for the surgeon, Anesthesiologist and the whole team. I have had zero to very very little pain. I was so dreading the surgery and how long it would be before I can get back to normal. I have had one PT appointment and it was painless. I’m just so happy because I know that is not always the case. They gave me a nerve block injection in my neck before surgery and it sounds horrible but I don’t remember it. Thank goodness! The most painful part, believe it or not, was getting my blood pressure taken! My husband got me a reclining memory foam recovery mattress/pillow so I can sleep sitting up which has been a lifesaver. My daughters have been helping me, as usual, with appointments. I will wear the sling 4-6 weeks and then rehab for awhile. I so hope to be back in the kitchen by Thanksgiving 🙏 Love to all of you!

Hello Friends! Thank you to everyone who has ordered charcuterie boards over the summer! I love the creativity and the opportunity to be a part of your special celebrations. I have received upcoming holiday party requests and I wanted to update you on my availability. This past February I injured my shoulder. I ignored it for awhile and it got worse. Although physical therapy helped I had an MRI and it’s a torn rotator cuff. So, after months of procrastination, I have scheduled rotator cuff surgery for tomorrow. I’m not certain how long recovery will take but I will be in a sling for 4 weeks. To be on the safe side I am not accepting any orders until at least mid November. Unless I learn how to be left handed and use only one arm, lol. I absolutely love what I do and I sure hope to have good news about new plans in the next few weeks ! Big brother, who just turned 17 months old, has finally decided to stand on his tippy toes and see what that is in the bassinet, lol. He still has not made eye contact with his baby sister but he does share mommy’s lap with her for a few brief moments. Harper is such a sweet little snuggle angel. We can’t wait to get a pic of her and Pierce together!
