Happy Veteran's Day tomorrow! I will not be serving a meal tomorrow evening but encourage everyone to attend the Elks Veteran's Day Soup Supper. Delicious soups and a wonderful way to honor and benefit our local veterans.

Also a quick reminder about our Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 28th. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry salad, roll and pumpkin pie - $18.00/plate. Take-out orders will be available from 11:00 to 12:30 and we welcome anyone who wants, to stay and eat in from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. All orders need to be placed in advance. I'm sorry for the late notice, but we will not have a meal tomorrow evening, October 14. We had a crazy busy weekend and I just need to catch my breath!

Don't forget the Elks has a meal tomorrow evening to help Steve Hill with his bicycle project for kids at Christmas. This is such a worthy cause to support - Steve gives so much time and effort for these kids.

We had a great weekend, served a 50th wedding anniversary in Bremen ( happy anniversary to the Pralle's) and also three class reunions in Clay Center. CCCHS class of 1964, 1969 and 1979. Wonderful people at all these events! Thank you!
