We wanted to inform you all that our last day open will be Friday August 11th. We can't thank you all enough for your support these past 6 years. The shop has been so much fun and we have learned so much.

We know this news may come as a shock to some of you, but it is something we have been contemplating for a long time and ultimately we need to do what's best for us and our families. We are going to be spending more time doing what we love - and will find our next adventure along the way.

Family Owned & Operated

Although it hasn’t always been an easy road, we absolutely love what we do. So we wanted to give you an inside look on how our small family-operated business works. From arranging flowers, to book-work, to deliveries, it takes our entire family to make everything come together.

Like mother, like daughters:

We are so very blessed to have so much help in this journey. As you can tell from the photo above, it’s not just a two woman job. From left to right in the photo, is my sister Stephanie, myself, my sister Emily, and then my mom, Lana. My mom and I are partners, and own the shop together, while my sisters support us in other ways. Stephanie helps get the word out about our business through advertising, and Emily helps us a lot creatively. They are always there for us during big events and holidays, even though they both have separate jobs. For those of you fortunate enough to have a mother-daughter relationship, you know that the relationship can only truly be understood by mothers and daughters. It’s not always easy, but having someone on your side that completely understands you, and that you can trust 100%, is a blessing that not all get to cherish. Although we can go from laughing to fighting in less than a minute, one thing remains constant—our truly unconditional love for one another.

We know how to complement each other’s strengths:

Being from different generations, we sometimes have a different outlook on things. Although it may sound a bit controversial, we see this as a great thing! It brings different ideas and creativeness into everything we do. Not only that, but we complement each other well, and work well as a team. Being brought up with a little more technology, I am more advanced in anything dealing with the computer: making invoices, inventory, and sending e-mails, etc., while mom is better at managing time, and keeping all of the flowers and plants fresh cut and watered. Nevertheless, there are a lot of things we both do: taking orders, making fresh and silk arrangements, and helping customers are just a few of these things we work on as a team.

Helping customers make tough decisions:

One of our toughest jobs in this line of work is helping customers decide how to honor a loved one after they have passed. This is a very sad and unfortunate task that everyone has to do at some point in their lives. It’s not fun, and it’s not easy. But because my mother is one of the most kind hearted people you will ever meet, she eases the burden a little bit. Having suffered several losses herself, she knows how to work with customers in a way that is both understanding, and helpful.

It’s not all mothers and daughters:

We are so fortunate to also have several other family members to help us run our business. My husband, Jake, for instance. He helps us deliver, moves heavy items, and most importantly, he helped build our shop and most of the display items in it. You might see him running different places for us or delivering your flowers. My dad is another friendly face you might see out delivering flowers. He is a huge help; he makes runs to wholesalers to get flowers, and does all of our book-work, on top of delivering for us. They are just a couple, along with several other friends and family that have helped us tremendously. We are so thankful for all of the help we have had our loved ones.
