Hey everyone!
The unthinkable happened- my Great Dane let me sleep until 9am today!! 😳 This NEVER happens (usually we are up by 7am in this house). So I'm getting a later start than anticipated. Most of my season special customers- your galleries have been updated. Some of you may get some more photos added if you ran later in the night as I'm doing some edits. I have about 200 photos that I need to crop and lighten slightly, so I'm guessing I'll be done by noon. I'm sorry for the delay; apparently Tilly thought I needed to rest 🤣

As summer draws to a close I just wanted to tell each and every one of you who has supported my business this summer: THANK YOU. My full time job is a school counselor, and I don’t get paid in the summer. Due to an emergency earlier this year, I had to dig into my summer savings account and it made the summer months a very scary prospect financially. Those of you who ordered photos, bought the show special or set up portrait sessions literally made what could have been a truly terrible situation manageable. I could not have gotten through without your support of my business. THANK YOU.

I don’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t love taking photos. I have always been the family document-or, making people get in pictures. Same for friends. I took several photography classes in high school, even learning how to develop my own film. I started my business 15 years ago when Mechelle Watson trusted me enough to do photos at EZ Run… looking back I wasn’t that great at it when I started 😂 I got better every show and every time someone asked me to do portraits. I still have so much to learn and I’m lucky enough that people continue to trust me and give me opportunities to grow as a photographer. Thank you to each and every one of you who has let me document their lives and their passions. I’m eternally grateful because I love being a photographer
