Just a friendly reminder we will be closed Aug 2 and 3rd as our daughter Chloe graduates from culinary school. We will reopen Monday for normal business hours.

We will be closed today to attend the IUP culinary school restaurant to see our daughter Chloe. With this being said there are a couple dates in Aug we will be closed with her graduating. Aug 2nd for graduation and the 19th and 20th to move her to North Carolina.

We are expanding. On April 29th we will be opening DuBois Floral Design at 210 DuBios St Dubois Pa. 15801. Grand opening will be May 1st with a ribbon cutting at 5pm. Come see us and the familiar floral crew from Beaver drive. Michelle, Jenny, Taylor and Randy have joined me in this adventure. Watch for the upcoming page and listen for our ads for new updates. This will not change me being in Clearfield. I will still be in Clearfield normal hours for your floral needs.

Thank you for all that came to see us at the wine walk. Comment and let us know for Christmas should we make tortellini soup or stuff pepper?

Here's the loaded potato soup recipe this a smaller batch than we made for the wine walk but still a good size pot.

Ingredients
1lb bacon cut in to pieces
1/2 lb sharp chedder cheese cubed
1/3 lb white chedder cheese cubed
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
3 onions diced
1 quart heavy cream
16 oz sour cream
48 oz chicken stock
15 oz canned aged chedder
6 cans diced potatos drained

In stock pot or larger roaster
Fry bacon till cooked add onions cook till tender. Drain grease from bacon and onions set aside. Melt butter( in same pot), whisk in flour cook till golden brown and has thickened. Medium to low heat. Slowly whisk in cold cream, then chicken broth and canned cheese. Add in remaining ingredients stir well I bake it in the oven till it thickens and all the cheese melts. We don't make it often ( the kids don't remember the last time i made it) but it is good treat every once In a while.
