We are so excited to host Chloe and Alex's wedding ceremony and reception in the spring!

They decided to have an intimate wedding so they can spend quality time with every one of their guests. They felt with a smaller wedding they would not be as rushed and could take in the day. They are excited to be able to execute some personal touches, like gorgeous charcuterie boards at each table during cocktail hour.

They chose the Dyer Vinton for its "romantic feel". "We loved the big windows and wood floor". "It has the history of an old church but modern ammenities". They are glad to be able to get ready and relax right on site, in our suite and snug.

Did you know that during your rental, you will have full access to THREE separate areas??

*The Gathering Room- Our main space of 1224 square feet plus 404 square feet raised area. The open, light filled area features 3 story barrel ceiling, arched windows, original wood floors and original brass lights. A perfect space for your party of up to 60 guests seated at tables and chairs or 100 ceremony/meeting/standing room style.
*The Suite- The adjacent ā€œFrench cottageā€ themed 630 square foot space includes a full kitchen and cozy furnishings. The character is abundant with 100+year old floors and exposed limestone. Perfect for smaller gatherings, party overflow or getting ready for your special day.
*The Snug- Located in the lower level, this extra 400 square feet is modeled after the small private rooms of an Irish pub where one went for a quiet drink and chat with friends. A bar, game table and stately furniture set the perfect tone for groom prep, playing cards or watching the big game.

Weā€™re thrilled to announce the pricing for events at The Dyer Vinton for 2025!

Half-Day Rentals are perfect for baby/bridal showers, birthday parties, celebration of life, graduation parties, class reunions, pop-up shops, or other sweet gatherings.

Full-Day Rentals work well for your intimate wedding or if you need more time for your event.

For your rental, you will have access to THREE separate areas; The Gathering Room, The Suite (includes full kitchen) and The Snug. All rentals include tables and chairs (table seating for 60, or 100 seated ceremony/meeting style or standing room), table linens, bluetooth speaker system and two microphones, custom bar and our favorite part...our curated collection of vintage decor items to help with your vision!

As a special introductory offer, we are taking 10% off bookings until JANUARY 31, 2025! Your event can be any date, but you must book before January 31, 2025.

We are still working on getting the perfect photos posted onto our website to show you the true beauty of The Dyer Vinton. In the meantime, we are happy to answer your questions and accept your bookings through Facebook Message or Instagram DM!

Here's the scoop!

Established in 1867, this church building was one of three Episcopal churches built as a memorial to the children of Frances Dyer Vinton of Rhode Island. Inspired by the passage ā€œthy praise shall ring from sea to seaā€, Mrs. Dyer Vinton set out to establish one church in the east, one in the west, and one in the middle of our nation. The West Coast church in San Gabriel, California, has been significantly altered over the years. The East Coast chapel in Providence, Rhode Island, has since been torn down. The third memorial church was built in Clermont, Iowa, which was chosen to represent the heart of the country

WOW! We cannot be more thrilled at the wonderful response we got after our announcement yesterday! Thank you all for your support and patience on this journey.

We received some questions that we wanted to answer for everyone. Right now, The Dyer Vinton is undergoing some renovations to bring our vision to life. We can't wait to show you what we have planned, so stay tuned for progress photos as we transform the space. Our goal is to have everything ready by January 2025, and weā€™re so excited for you to see it all come together!

Big news for us and for Northeast Iowa -- we are so excited to announce our new EVENT VENUE AND PHOTO STUDIO available for rentals Spring 2025!
