Blue and White is having a moment this upcoming season!

Sam and Max wanted to incorporate their love for coastal Italy into their downtown wedding, so it felt only natural to build their color palette off of an Amalfi blue and white foundation.

Winter Weddings are IN! It’s no secret that we love a moody winter color palette, but what are some other perks that come with planning a soirée in the colder months?

Less Competition for Vendor Availability. Some vendors may even offer lower rates for dates outside of “peak season.”

Cozy Fabrics. We always love using textiles that make you want to reach out and touch (think velvet or tweed!) During the colder months, we tend to see these fabrics more than usual. Whether they’re infused into couples personal styling choices or used to make certain spaces feel intentionally cozy - we welcome them!

Beauty & Personal Styling. We love seeing winter color palettes influence the beauty and personal styling choices of our couples. Our Bride Olivia’s classic fur wrap created the perfect through line of color and style between her bold lip & liner combo, her winter blooms infused bouquet and the overall wedding day design. Let’s not forget that your hair and makeup looks will also thank you for choosing a date with less heat and humidity to compete with!

Wedding Planner HOT TAKE: End your reception at 10pm and throw an After Party.

One of the biggest concerns our couples have is making sure their guests have a great time. But here’s the thing - you’ll never please everyone. Younger guests are sick of bands playing the same 50 songs, older guests can’t stand loud bass-heavy or electronic music - so why not cater to both groups separately?

One of our favorite trends for 2025 and beyond is splitting your reception into 2 separate parties. The first is focused on socializing, a beautiful dinner and a chic atmosphere. The second is a party-forward event filled with fun cocktails, comfort food and adventurous style. You’ll get the best of both worlds (and can even save money) when you use both as experiences for your guests.
