Elementary school Anji would be ecstatic to know I was this close to figure skaters, the sparkles, and ice. A lot different from when I practiced my own “routine” in the living room. 😄 Now I’m helping them celebrate with paper flowers!

Flowers are shipped, picked up, and delivered as of this afternoon. Time to get ready for Christmas…like finally putting up our tree. Oops! Good thing Penny doesn’t get it yet. 🎄 One of today’s deliveries was to a new opportunity for us and a new place for you to shop! We’ll have magnets and arrangements at the new Meijer Fairfax Market right by Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and CWRU. They open January 16 on the corner of E. 105 and Cedar.

Cat tax Let’s take a trip down memory lane…

2015: I released my first poinsettia. Made out of cardstock. People really liked them and I know a bunch of you still have yours!

2016: I released the poinsettia in pink this year. They did okay.

2019: To be honest, making them the way I did was a pain in the ass, so I tried making it out of German crepe paper. So much easier and I loved them so much more! (I worked on the very first one during a working vacation in Puerto Rico.)

2020: I added them in pink crepe paper.

2022: I still loved the petals and leaves, but the centers could use improvement. I ended up finding spun paper balls and painted them. I polled folks on yellow or red centers and red won. I decided to only make red poinsettias, but you could still custom order pink.

2023: No changes this year, but thinking about next year…

They are back!!! It’s been short a year, but lilies and daffodils are back online!

Three years ago a friend sent me this video after she hung these paper flowers up in her bathroom. She and her body have endured so much for several years (she’s one of the strongest people I know!) and she was looking for something on the wall opposite her tub, where she spent a lot of time relaxing and healing.💛 This popped up as a memory and fits with my series highlighting your reasons for purchasing paper flowers. I brought some loose flowers with me to the pop up and I created this while it was drizzling. 🌤️ No rain anymore, thankfully! I’m here at Intro Boutique til 4pm.
