With Beryl bearing down on us there might be a lil rain but fear not! Oysters from PEI, New Brunswick and Northern ME. are still on tap! Come on out Thursday for a fantastic night of oyster pairings and me being a goof in my flamingo/koi shirt! Yes, tee shirts will be made available.

We've got another Oyster and Wine pop up event happening with Adam Smith from CLE On The Half Shell and Voyager Beverage! This one is all about pairing Orange Wines with Oysters!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Join us on Thursday, July 11th from 6-8pm.

3 wines- $18 per person
4 oysters- $14* per order

*Pre-order your Oysters on our website through 7/9/24.
(If you miss the pre-order, no worries, there will be oysters to purchase at the event. First come, first served.)

No reservations are needed for the event, just pop in!

So happy I could add some bivalves to my great friend's birthday party. Kudos to Lyman, Shannon, Jay and the staff at Wine Spot for hosting a truly epic event last night. Put this coming Monday on your calendar for a tasty Happy Hour at Patron Saint's on Detroit. 5-8, don't be late! Oysters not your thing? No problem, we get it; owner Marie and Chef Dave have an array of culinary options for you and your friends. But..the oysters will be amazing!

Hey Bivalve lovers! The next four months have an R in them so don't delay in scheduling an oyster event with CLE on the Half-Shell! Also, refrigerant gas technology (circa 1924) has pushed the limits of refrigerated seafood viability into Wedding Month and beyond! So yeah, your special-special June wedding reception venue is perfect for serving all kinds of oysters; regardless of the month. New 'CLE on the Half-Shell' merch is coming in February and I'll have XS Tee's for the diminutive and XL tees for the unencumbered. As always, a quick text to 216-256-6874 gets us in touch.

Hey oyster lovers! I’ll be doing the usual at Patron Saint Cafe tomorrow (Monday) between 5 and 8! I’m shucking ‘Moondancers’ outta Maine and ‘Barstools’ from the chilly waters of PEI. Come on out and indulge in the best oysters, tip the best servers and take in the Lake Erie sunset! Here’s a lovely picture of my fire…only because my oysters are Equity and complain about being constantly photographed.

Always apologetic, Canada is making up for all the summer time, wild-fire smokey nonsense by giving us 100 succulent, briny beauties. Oh, hey, while you're there grab one of my business cards to schedule your own Oyster Party. Nothing against Clam Bakes but come ON all ready! Hey Bivalve lovers! We're settled comfortably into the 'R' months and Hingetown's Patron Saint Cafe is your 'go to' for happy hour oysters this coming Monday, Oct 2nd. Superstar restauranteur Marie and her incredible staff will tuck you in safely with unique cocktails and eminently edible goodness. The oysters are my thing; I've joined forces with Patron for three hours of the freshest of oysters CLE has to offer. I'm bringing 75 'Pink Ladys' out of PEI and they should be briny, fingers crossed! There's a second offering and I'll let you know tomorrow re. the second passel of 75 (prolly something Mass but we'll see what came in most recently) . Gotta check with Cantanese Classics.
