First time making maple syrup. This is from about 5 gallons of sap. Now, I have about 50 gallons of sap to process. That should produce just over one gallon on syrup.

Today's adventure - trying to rescue a baby raccoon. Momma's not around and one of our dogs got his sibling before I saw them. He's got some injuries and maggots on him so 🤷‍♀️ we're doing what we can after a trip to tractor supply. He's been washed, wounds treated with a germicidal spray, dusted with diatomaceous earth and got him to drink a little goat milk formula.
