Olivia and Michael wanted to incorporate their gorgeous engagement photos into their wedding day, so we used one of their favorites for their thank you cards, and placed several life-size prints complimented by candles and rose petals throughout the cocktail hour space.

Still obsessed with Kendyl & Joe’s ceremony arch! created this beautiful airy floral masterpiece on their clear acrylic arch.

After ceremony and photos we moved the florals to the bar and seating charts. We love when we can repurpose ceremony florals at the reception🤍

There are always new trends happening in the wedding world. One trend that we are seeing more of isn’t necessarily a signature cocktail, flower trend, or unique late night snack ideas.

We are having more requests to carve out time for just the two of them during the reception. Yes, first looks or golden hour are great options, but private cocktail hour is being requested more frequently and we LOVE this!

Your day goes by so fast! If it works with your timeline and makes sense a private cocktail hour is a great option. You can take a deep breath, talk about everything that has happened this far into your day and just have a quiet moment between the two of you. It also can be a great opportunity to take candid shots like Celia and Rob did on their day.

Room reveals are and always will be our favorite moments on wedding day!

After months of planning your wedding it is only appropriate to make time on your wedding day to see the results of the meticulous planning unfolded. Being able to work in a private reveal for our couples to see the reception area is the least we can do! It also gives are couples a few minutes to themselves to breath before the rest of the night kicks off.

Krystyna and Aaron wanted to include their wood making business into their wedding. They started the business together and it represented what they journey together and continue to build, much like their love for each other.

Some of our favorite galleries to receive from photographers are the weddings that we built in the right amount of time in the timeline for each vendor and the couple.

Why does this matter so much? It makes your day feel organic, flow and feel effortless.

As planners we really look at the big picture and what makes the day successful for our clients. Having open conversations with the couple and their vendors through out the planning process is key. During the planning period some details change and that’s ok. As vendors we know this and plan for these changes. What truly matters is how we execute your day and make it so your only job is to truly take in every moment and enjoy.

Since Rob and Celia’s reception was smaller we decided not to use a seating chart or traditional es**rt cards. Instead we used acrylic name tags what were tied on each napkin.

This concept is perfect for a small gathering. Especially in a setting like this because we designed a 40ft long dining table. The names were easy to read and find.

When we say that every detail of Celia and Rob’s wedding had so much meaning we were not lying.

Celia and Rob knew they wanted to have their ceremony at the Detroit River walk in a special spot. The river walk was significant to their love story because they had lived close by. Even though it was February in Michigan they knew that this was meaningful and couldn’t think of a better way to start their marriage.

We love being apart of your wedding planning journey. Making your day extra special and intentional is what we strive to achieve for. It brings us so much joy seeing how happy and in the moment our clients are on their wedding day.

Celia and Rob’s intimate Leap Day wedding was absolutely perfect!

When planning the details of the reception at we wanted to create something that was true to both Celia and Rob. The design we landed on was a one long table created with several farm tables, lots of candles, and pops of color.

Originally the color scheme was all jewel tones until Rob had the idea of pink with some green. Representing Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s day since they were having their special day on such a unique day. We loved the thought behind this and added a pop of yellow for Celia.

The are so many meaning full details from Rob and Celia’s day and can’t wait to share more!

Something that most do not understand about the planning process is the constant communication between vendors and how time consuming it can be. As planners we are planning this beautiful day for you, but with that comes other details that are handled behind the scene.

A moment that has become one of our favorites to plan are private room reveals. It sounds pretty straight forward? Not really and this is why.

As planners we look over the timeline we are creating with you to see if it will work. After that we talk to the photographer about it and once they agree it will work comes the next steps. Talking to the venue to see if setup times for them and other vendors will work in very specific time so that the reveal can happen when maybe setup is still going on. Sometimes it’s several phone calls and emails back and forth to make that one moment happen, but it is so worth it.

So this one second you are seeing on our feed took hours to make happen and we wouldn’t change it for the world!

Something blue, but incorporate it in your decor.

Olivia’s vision was to have a beautiful elegant wedding in black and white. Her invitations however had the pop of color a dusty blue font and ribbon. When we were finalizing her favors we suggested bringing that blue to the tables with a beautiful bow tied around the box. That small detail brought everything full circle and brought another level of elegance to her stunning day.

As we get further into planning with our couples there is one question that gets asked quite often, “Where should we take pictures?”

Although we have our favorite spots that our past couples have had their pictures taken at, we encourage our couples to have an open conversation with their photographer. This can lead to your photographer coming up with some locations near your venue that you may have not thought of. Creating photos that are unique to you and not the same basic photos you see all the time.

We are here for the dress change!

Olivia wanted to be comfortable later in the night. She was able to create a fun one of a kind dress that fit the vibe for the rest of the night!
viau captured a few moments of just Olivia and Michael before she revealed her second dress. We love that they were able to have a moment later in the night to really take in the day just the two of them.

When working on designing your wedding there are many small details to consider. During that process we love to incorporate as many Easter eggs about the couple as possible. One way is your wedding cake or dessert.

For Kendyl she wanted to incorporate her love for Cabo and the beautiful Spanish tiles. Sarah from created a cake that perfectly represented just that. She took Kendyl’s idea and created a master piece.
