Thank you everyone for your prayers just giving you a little update. Grandma surgery went wonderful and now she just has to heal so she’ll be out of the shop for a bit but the doctor says it looked good tomorrow. I will be open to my normal hours between 10-6pm 🥰 thank you thank you again

We are almost through another year of prom season  we should be able to post photos after next weekend’s prom most everybody we’ve done to this year or least the photos are remembered to take ,and of course wedding season is at full bloom. I hope everybody’s dress is perfect for them this year. If there’s anything you need, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We’re open Monday through Thursday between 10 and 6 o’clock and you’re able to stop by without an appointment during those hours, you also can message me call or text thank you for choosing us to help you with your daily clothes alterations, and formal/special occasion alterations hope you all have a wonderful and safe week

Good morning, we hope you had a wonderful weekend .
We are open Monday through Thursday between 10 and 6. You can stop by without an appointment. Fridays and Saturdays are appointment only but those are booked up for the most part.
Our specialties are in formal wear that means bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses, any kind of formal or pageant dresses. But, we do lots of casual wear and work clothes as well. We do not do upholstery work as it is too hard on my hands.

We also do some leather work such as bags, wallets, sheaths, and card holders.

Also, we have some exciting news. We have had quite a few customers ask if we do embroidery so, we just ordered an industrial embroidery machine that should be in the next couple weeks. This way we should be able to take care of most of your sewing needs!

So I had a mom last night send me these pictures of her daughter actually both of her daughter was in the pageant. They were both the youngest in their division, and they both won their division. The baby had a white cotton dress. One of my favorite style dress for this age. The front had smocking on it with hand stitched embroidery work, and there was growth tucks around the hem which I love because it just gives that beautiful pleat look You can barley see it from the picture she’s tiny and hidden behind that giant trophy. anyways, it was a adorable, old-fashioned cotton dress we just had to take the sides and the other one was a gorgeous pageant dress with all the sequence and beadwork and rhinestones, of course, chiffon lots layers we had a hem and also. Took in sidesThey’re both such beautiful babies.

Well, this 12 year old girl finished her three 1 Hour course class today She did such an awesome job. She got a new sewing machine for Christmas and wanted to learn how to use it correctly. In the first class she learned how her machine worked got acquainted with her supplies and made a pincushion. Second class she made a sewing machine cover with a pockets to hold her book and supplies it turned out beautiful. The Third class she made a beautiful small quilt. She is such a sweet and talented girl, I was really honored to have her as a student. I wish I would’ve got photos of her holding the finished asproducts, but an hour isn’t very long and goes by super fast Maybe her mom will get her covered up with the mini quilt🥰

Hey Everyone I just thought I’d pass on some information for those of you that haven’t heard yet. This years Prom dates are as follows:

Powell High School April 19
Anderson County April 27
Clinton High School April 27
Oak Ridge High School April 27

So that means if your dress needs any kind of alterations or bust forms put in, please bring it as soon as you possibly can so I don’t get them all at once. We will try our absolute best to not turn anyone down on getting it done on time but would would help lighten the load and limit those no-sleep nights. 😊Thank you for trusting us with your beautiful day .

We hope everybody’s enjoying their snow lockdown week 😊 just wanted to send out a reminder that prom season is coming up!! I have already had a few dresses dropped off for alterations on them. I found out Anderson County High School prom is April 27. I haven’t been able to find information on any of the other schools yet. So if you happen to know, please drop a comment below! We get quite a few dresses and gowns from all the area schools and I’m very grateful that you trust us with your special occasions.

So if you’re needing alterations on your prom dress, or any other casual or formal attire, be sure to get it in as soon as you can so we can get it done for you on time.

P. S. Due to things beyond our control we are no longer renting suits and tuxedos. We can and will complete alterations on them if you have your own and need a better fit. 😊

Good morning everyone! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We have had several inquiries on conducting sewing classes and have decided to offer a private Sewing Lessons for you. Our package would consist of 3, 1 hour lessons for $250 or $100 for a single class We would teach you how to use your new or old machine. It would make a nice Christmas gift for that crafty person in your life. At a minimum you would learn how to hem a pair of pants. Please Give me a call if you’re interested.

Hey everyone Thank you all so much for kindly recommending us to so many of your friends and family and for choosing us for your Alterations / sewing needs. 🥰 You TRULY keep my beautiful little business constantly going and I thank you so much for that!
Just giving everyone a heads up, if you decide to drop by on Monday, I won’t be back in the shop until Tuesday. My hubby and I needed some Mississippi family time 🥰 , Shop will still be open and we will have Grandma in my place for the day. Also she will be Training my daughter to Fit people and write down your dropped off items. We are Open Monday-Thursday 10-6 and you can drop by at your convenience during those hours. With out an appointment. Appointments only Friday and Saturday, Closed on Sunday
