Greens season has been going fast and furious! So much so that these7 Blankets are all I have left! We have recieved so many orders that I have also run out of greens, so if you are looking to get a Blanket, call or text 810-287-3401and let us know which one you want then we will call you to schedule your pick up time. ** We do have Wreaths available also. SOLD OUT of 3' Pillows and 4' Double Pillows.

Time to visit my daughter and see a part of our beautiful counrty I haven't seen before. Wonderful drive through Canada on our way to Up-state New York for a long weekend before returning to prepare for Greens Season.

This one took me 2 loooong days and my hands HURT 🤪. All those Canada Thistle tore up 3 pair of gloves and the spines went through doubled up gloves. Now its time to soak my hands in epsom salt water to try to draw out the slivers 😒

Saturday's conversation with Jenny B.:
This person commented " must be nice to work only when you want to". My response? I work 7 days a week. It has been a difficult compromise giving good service to my gardening clients AND my retail clients. Staffing was wonderful this year, until it wasn't, and ALL business owners I know are having the same issues.
This client had terrible wind damage to her tree. The jagged wound needed to be hand chiseled to a "clean cut" , angled to provide drainage away from the damaged trunk, then small drainage cuts on either side to prevent water from collecting in low spots. All took several hours and my aim was not very good 🤪. But all is working well, and my hand is almost healed.😎 ( This tree has a 50/50 chance of recovery)

So, I was working in the greenhouse when a lady came in and asked if I could repot a plant for her. She went on to say she only had the plant a couple weeks but it was turning yellow. The pot and tag looked new, so I told her I could repot and do a diagnostic but would have to leave it with me.
I pull it out of the pot, and directly beneath is a NEST of some sort! Whatever it was had eaten most of the roots, luckily no movement/critters were in there! Hopefully whatever it was has not moved into her house 😱
