I'm probably the only human on the planet that actually loves these, oh, so pesky gumballs?! So, are you wondering what I'm about to do with these?

These little goodies are Mother Nature's little buddies. They are equivalent to packing peanuts, foam, and anything to create space in planting so your bulbs/plant/flower do not develop root rot from your roots getting too soggy. You never want your bulbs to be sitting in water....they really don't like that. And if you think about it, who likes to wear wet socks?!!! That makes for a grumpy day!

So, take a stroll in the yard, sn**ch a few of these babies up, throw em in a pot, add your dirt, and lastly snuggle in your bulb. The bulbs starting to sprout kinda look like dinosaur toenails?!

Some see a worthless "twig" that needs to go in the burn pile of a bonfire or just simply pass it by & not give it much thought. But for me, I've actually been saving her to turn into something, I just wasn't sure when or what but I knew something.

Had a repeat client ask me to make something with a wintery feel. So, with the help of some felt snowflakes, pinecones, and these lovely twigs a wintery wreath was made. And just for fun to complement the teal color from the snowflake, I added more of this accent color with some fuzzy yarn to make my own flowers.
