The first annual Coarsegold Harvest Rodeo was a huge success!

Congratulations to our 2025 Mutton Bustin’ Buckaroo Series Champion, Ryker Lanier! 🏆

Out of more than 200 riders, Ryker rode his heart out and took home the Champion Buckle during the Championship round at the Coarsegold Harvest Rodeo! He showed incredible consistency and grit attending all three series events and qualifying by placing 2nd at our August 2nd round.

Ryker is from Sierra View Elementary School in Madera Ranchos and dreams of becoming a firefighter and a team roper when he grows up. He also credits his mullet for giving him the extra strength to take home that buckle! 💪😂

🔥 Also a huge congratulations to our Reserve Champion, Mason McCoy! Mason was a tough one to beat this year, competing in all three events and even snagging a 1st place finish twice along the way! Mason attends Royal Oaks Elementary, and we’re so proud of the effort, heart, and sportsmanship he showed all season long.

Way to go, Ryker and Mason… you both embody what the Buckaroo Series is all about: fun, determination, and cowboy spirit! 🤠

The first-ever Harvest Rodeo was a dream… and YOU made it real. Partnering with Veater Ranch and seeing our community come together like that? Pure magic.

We are so proud of all of the contestants, and every person who worked behind the scenes to make this night happen — our judges, pickup men, announcer, singer, bull fighters, chute crew, specialty acts, photographers, sound crew, the band, AK Bucking Bulls, Travis Kent, Gold Buckle Sheep Co, All In Pro Rodeos, Eric Horiuchi and team, Lefty and Hailey Holman, the Hatchers, the Neilsens, Gina Samper, Mary Pittman, the Lindgrens, our gate crew, flaggers, stock contractors, Coarsegold Rodeo Flag Team, Coarsegold Rodeo Royalty and visiting royalty, Yosemite Football Team, and all of the dozens of hardworking staff and volunteers who poured their hearts into making this happen!!
