Happy New Year! We are thrilled to announce that the 72nd annual Coarsegold Rodeo is just around the corner!

We are looking for volunteers to help us make this year's event the best one yet! This is your chance to be a part of something special and historic, and we would love to have you on board!

We are reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity to contribute to our newest project. We are in the process of creating a museum at the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds, dedicated to preserving the rich history and memories of this iconic location.

As the new owners, capturing and sharing the stories of those who have been a part of the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds over the years is important to us. That's why we are reaching out to you, our community, in search of any artifacts, prints, history, or memorabilia that you may be willing to donate to our museum.

Whether it's old photos, posters, awards, news clippings, or any other items that tell the story of the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds, we would be honored to add them to our museum-style memory wall. Your contributions will help us keep the memory and history of this special place alive for future generations to enjoy.

During the holidays, as you reconnect with family and friends, we encourage you to inquire if your parents, grandparents, or anyone else you know may have something they wish to have preserved in our museum. It could be a perfect opportunity to share and showcase these cherished items for all to see and admire.

If you have any items you would like to donate or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Your generosity will play a vital role in the success of our museum!

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who attended the past three nights of our Christmas event. Your presence and support made it a truly successful and memorable experience.

Looking ahead to the new year, we are excited to bring many more exciting events that will bring our community together.

We wanted to take a moment to inform you of some exciting news regarding the ownership of the beloved Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds. As you may have heard, there has been a change in ownership recently, but please rest assured that the grounds will continue to be a cherished and integral part of our community.

As the new owners, we are committed to preserving the spirit and legacy of the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds while also striving to bring it to new heights. We are incredibly grateful to have the support and guidance of the previous owners, Mr. Tom Bohna, Mr. Kevin Tweed, and Jennifer Mcmillan. With their expertise and backing, we are confident that only great things lie ahead for our community.

Being a local family, we understand the importance of this venue to all of you and we are dedicated to honoring its history and traditions. We are humbled to be entrusted with such a significant part of our community and we promise to do our best to uphold the legacy of the Bohna family.

As Tom shared with us today, we must also extend our gratitude to Henry Bohna, whose vision and hard work laid the foundation for this wonderful venue. We are honored to continue his legacy and build upon it for future generations to enjoy.

We are excited for the future and the possibilities that lie ahead for the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds. Your support and encouragement mean the world to us, and we are grateful to be part of such a warm and welcoming community.
