It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Cody’s annual Cowboy Christmas stroll & parade kicks the holiday festivities off tonight! It’s sad our Cody Theatre Marquee won’t be updated with 27th Annual Nutcracker info this year but here’s a pic of a few years ago when it was the same days as this year! tickets can be purchased online for performances December 14 at 7pm and 15 at 2pm. Don’t forget, campaign continues. See our website for more info.

Still waiting….. yes, WyDot’s approved the permit but now the City needs to before we can even start to look into the underlying issues going on inside the massive marquee. Please keep spreading the word that support is needed. Every little bit adds up as the expenses with will also continue adding up.

Due to the weight of the massive marquee sag, the tiles on the face of our historic theatre have began to pop and break. We are devastated that “The Cody Theatre” tiles have cracked through the words and that we can’t do anything about it till we get the green lights and approvals. Ironically we didn’t realize the words were painted on till the cracks revealed it. Did you? That’s some pretty amazing stencil work! Our historic marquee is MASSIVE and stretches across 2 other store fronts on Main Street in Cody, Wyoming. For years now it’s had a slight sag but this summer the sag got serious. This picture was taken June 7, 2024 by John Venzon; before the vandalism happened to our neon’s and the sag started sagging more. For more details see our fundraising campaign page.

After TCTC cast members handed out candy to trick or treaters down Main Street, we had a SOLD OUT show of The Cody Theatre Company’s “Addams Family; A New Musical” production! It’s OPENING NIGHT of The Cody Theatre Company’s production of “Arsenic and Old Lace”, tonight Friday, Oct 25 at 7:00. Have you missed seeing “Arsenic and Old Lace” on our historic marquee?! We sure have. 😞 See our website to get the dish on that. Only a handful of tickets remain for tonight and the next two nights are getting scarce as well! Probably not a good idea to wait to try to get them at the door…. 😵
