So… I have to admit- weddings terrify me!! They are part of the job description and typically I love to go to weddings but capturing what is one of biggest milestones of a person/couples life… well the responsibility of that scares me to death! Don’t get me wrong, it is truly an honor and absolute gift to be asked to be a part of and trusted to do a good job with, but man, if I miss something or have a bad card or my camera malfunctions or I don’t have my settings right or …. all of the possibilities that can go wrong- You can’t recreate a wedding day! So, I lay awake the night before making mental lists of everything I have packed and if I forgot anything. The day before I go over my lists of pics to take and not to miss! I charge batteries and pack bags! And yet, I never feel fully prepared. That being said, when I get there it’s go time!! And let me tell you what a difference it makes to have an amazing bride and groom! When they are so excited to get married and so in love, you find the worries dissipate and I just want to capture it all for them! So I say a little prayer that God helps me give them the best of what I have to offer! Anyhow, this couple was the epitome of excitement to be married and love! I only have a couple of favorite weddings and this one was added to the list!! I can’t wait to get these all edited as I’m laughing looking through some of their ‘fun’ bridal party photos! Madison and Curt have an amazingly bright future ahead of them. Their love for one another and their kindness to those around them are a great foundation to build their lives on. So thankful I had the privilege of being a part of their big day!!
