The Chef's Table CDA brings new 'culinary adventures' to Coeur d'Alene
by HAILEY HILL
COEUR d’ALENE — Chefs Lesa LeBeau, Troy Chandler, Kailee “K” Carr and Kim Lehr are creating a space for local chefs and the community to come together in celebration of good food with their new venture, The Chef’s Table CDA.
Beginning June 3, The Chef’s Table will offer a variety of cooking classes with menus that draw inspiration from around the world.
“I’m so excited to have my team together and bring some new food and culinary options to Coeur d’Alene,” LeBeau said. “We want to expose the community to different culinary adventures.”
Classes will range from $55 to $75 and last for about two hours Tuesdays and Thursdays. Attendees will be sent home with recipes and recommendations on where to purchase groceries for the meals locally.
The Chef’s Table will also offer exclusive wine pairing dinners and other culinary events throughout the year.
“We have a team of really strong chefs — with their personalities and talents it’s basically dinner and a show,” LeBeau said.
All four chefs have many years of experience in the culinary field and built strong relationships with students and patrons alike teaching classes at a previous venue.
“We’ve been bombarded with messages,” LeBeau said. “(People) are so excited to get back in the classes and get going again with all the chefs.”
The Chef’s Table will operate out of the GreenTent Station, which can seat about 50 people per class or event.
“The kitchen is really beautiful — it’s eclectic, it’s roomy,” LeBeau said.
The GreenTent Station is located at 2775 N. Howard St., Coeur d’Alene.
