People have asked what they can do for the Thanksgiving meal. You may help set up Wednesday, you may help serve but the biggest need is food. If you can donate food either cooked or to be cooked it would be great. Message me here or on my page and we can discuss it further.

It has been a busy couple of weekends at the house. Look for pictures from the baby shower and the retirement luncheon for Pastor Thomas and his beautiful wife, Sister Thomas. They served Waggoners Grove Baptist Church for 26 years!

I am looking for brides that would like, along with their photographer, to take their bridal portraits at the house for FREE. This is limited to the months of SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER and NOVEMBER. The only caveat is that I may choose one photo to use for promotion.

It has been a busy and fun 8 days at The Colbert Benton Guest House. First we hosted the Madison County Rotary Club for breakfast. The food, provided by Ila Restaurant, was wonderful. We even had a spot of live musical entertainment at the end. (I think this is posted).

Then last night we hosted a charity dinner/dance/concert/silent auction benefitting Ferst Readers and St. Mary's Neruro Science department. I cannot thank Angie Patterson enough for all she did to pull this event together. She did a wonderful job! It was a fun time right up until the storm came through.Thank you to everyone that attended and to those that stayed and helped clean up. You are all appreciated very much!
