I've tried to find the right words for what this past weekend was for me, but I can't seem to find them. Such a blessing to bring women together, that pipe dream God laid on my heart has been in movement for five years now. To speak with my best friend. To allow these ladies to feel seen, welcomed and to give them time to refill their own cups for once. We brought in our daughters and spoke truth into their lives and reminded them of their worth!

Each speaker spoke words of hope and instilled in us that we are never alone and are through our faith, courageous enough to face whatever storms we may face! 🤍 thank you to everyone for your help, your trust and your time!

So blessed by truth in this friendship!

Looking back on our journeys, it’s crazy to see how far we’ve come. There were definitely some bumps along the way, but God has been so faithful in guiding us through it all.

I’m so thankful for His steady hand, and even more grateful for my best friend Whit, who’s been by my side since I randomly messaged her on the ‘gram in 2019…or was it 2020?

Cultivating Courage has been such a powerful reminder of what happens when we step out in faith and trust God with our paths.

Watching her lead with such boldness and grace has been nothing short of inspiring.

It’s amazing to think about how far both of us have come on this journey of discernment, and I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it. Forever thankful for His guidance and for the courage to keep walking in it 🩷

Many wonder where some of the money made at the Conference goes, and this is one spot I love giving back to, Young ladies heading out into the world to begin a new chapter of their lives!

Nominations now OPEN! You may nominate someone from your school, another school, a niece, a friend, a student, daughter.. you name it all nominations for all 2025 graduating seniors welcome. These young women are people who have impacted others, their community and chose courage in many different ways. All states welcome. Last years recipients were from Minnesota and Nebraska.

When the world is shouting more, Cultivate is telling you less IS more. It’s a time to come relax, rest and refresh your faith. From Blacktop to Dirt Road and I are so ready to not only be there to mentor but walk alongside you in your Faith journey, wherever that may be. Your season and level of faith is not judged nor shamed here. You come as you are and are welcomed with open arms. With a private in house masseuse and chef, we will be pampered but allowed to just be. No expectations. No need for makeup, our phones or anything that makes us feel rushed or not present. We will be walking through the Bible and a study curated for this weekend. It will be continued 9 weeks after we leave one another. I am so excited to do this lakeside in the Lake of the Ozarks, june 6-9. There are only a handful of spots left for this retreat. I have avidly prayed for God to put it on the hearts of women who NEED this time for themselves. To realize they are worth investing in. Expectations. How can we expect to change when we remain the same? Driving our kids to camp today I was thinking about the expectations we have for our kids in their sports and 4h. We always push them to do hard things and to try new things. But so often we ourselves don’t hold the same standards. Early in my farm wife years it was easier for me to be bitter to our farm that I didn’t know what I was doing or how to drive the tractor, be in the field, talk about farming….when in reality I was only limiting myself! Until I got the courage to try new things and let myself fail did my mindset ever change and let me love this life we lead and find a role within it all! Watching NFR lastnight always puts a giant lump in my throat watching barrels as this is Laytons love. This year she got her courage and started working on and even entered a rodeo on a new mare. I’m so proud of her, but my drive today also made me so proud of me. My goodness how far I have come. I hope you can say the same thing for yourself in some capacity! I have done so many things wrong, failed in so many ways but that all brought me to where I am today. Without that try, I wouldn’t be here. I hope you go into 2024 with some try. Try something new, cultivate courage to do hard things. You’ll never know if you can do it until you try! 🫶🏻 This failing Farm Wife is in your corner.
