LAST DAY FOR A TICKET!

Tomorrow morning marks my final speaking event of the year -- at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines.

As I prepare today, Iā€™ve been reflecting on the incredible journey of these past 15 years. Along the way, Iā€™ve had the privilege of meeting, hugging, praying for, and ministering to thousands of women across the U.S. and Canada.

I used to be terrified -- yes, TERRIFIED -- of public speaking. Early in my speaking journey, a friend told me: ā€œYou get to be terrified so that God can be glorified.ā€ That truth has stayed with me all these years.

These days, I don't struggle with the fear of public speaking like I used to, but I do still get nervous. Which I think is ok. It keeps me extra-dependent on God. The way I look at it is this: If women leave the room more in awe of Jesus than when they walked in, mission accomplished. That's what matters most.

Let's face it, no one is going to be in awe of ME, nor should they be. I'm about as regular as they come. I use an old-school three-ring binder to carry my notes onto the stage. I don't wear designer clothes or shoes. I always carry tissues, because there's a decent chance I'll cry.

But I can honestly say, I LOVE this calling, and I'm grateful for every ministry leader who's invited me to speak at a retreat or conference, and for every woman who's shown up to hear about how Jesus changes everything.

I'll hang up my binder for a break, after tomorrow. But I'll be back to on February 1-2, 2025, in Colby, Kansas, for an event called Cultivating Courage. This two-day event is packed with inspiring keynotes, breakout sessions, delicious food, and even a dueling pianos night!

If youā€™d like to join me, tickets close in just two days. Grab yours here: https://www.farmwifeguru.com/cultivating-courage .

Thank you for making these 15 years so memorable. I hope to see you on the road in 2025!

What just a few women from the last few years had to say about the conference.

I will say over the years this has evolved from what the initial dream was in to more of what I see women yearn for.

What started as a Women in Ag conference has slowly turned in to something for rural women in all walks of life. Ag or not, the need to be around a community of people who have been through and are going through the same seasons as you is so comforting. To just be, not judged or shamed and to let your guard down in a space that holds the understanding for you to do so!

More now than ever our faith is what we are able to lean on and incorporating God has been at the forefront of this weekend together. Whether you are just beginning your faith journey or you have been on this path for years, this weekend is planned out and set for your to be renewed in your faith. So come join us. Let loose, have some fun. Meet new faces and share in the hard but rejoice in the good.

ā€œI want women to arrive and immediately have their cups filled, hopes renewed and spirits lifted by the speakers I select. These women come from all over the country and pour into a room of women seeking the same things in life. Speakers leave us better than we came. I want everyone who enters to know they arenā€™t alone in any of these struggles we go through silently. To remind them that they can always cultivate their courage to do the hard thingsā€

Hope to see you in Kansas in February!

As we face a week with so many unknowns and honestly for many of us fears... I continue to cling to the fact that God has seen this these days and that he MADE ME FOR THIS TIME.

Something that Kayla the Christian Life Coach and I talk about often. I am forever thankful she was placed in my life to remind me of such truthful things when my eyes and ears want to wonder and listen to worldy people and things that cause my anxiety to rise.

I pray that each of you cling to truth this week. And do not allow your feelings to minimize the facts we do know!

When I let Layton attend .courage this year in February I had no idea what sort of experience she would have. To my surprise at only 8 years old she got out of the Conference every bit as much as the woman sitting next to her.

I saw her be brave. She wrote things that were hard in her workbook. Things she wanted to do better at. She wanted to pray for people. She stood up in front of hundreds of women to speak. That little hand of hers was rose everytime there was an opportunity to speak.

It changed us both. I am so happy that I was able to see what it did for her in order to offer this bundle to other Moms. A woman I very much so look up to told me this is my legacy I am leaving for her. And it hit me how important and vital getting her there every year is.

Esthers Circle is going to be so life changing for these young ladies. has worked hard and prayed over this workshop, to plant seeds of what matters and who their worth is found in. What a gift to teach our kids to turn to God when things are hard and not the world.

This ticket bundle is for girls aging 8-18, and their Mom (YOU) to come enjoy the gift of time and a weekend getaway.

PS: If this is for a Birthday or Christmas surprise, the swag bag they get is pretty stinking amazing so dont worry if you wanted to get them a gift too, I covered that for you!

Cannot wait to see this group of girls in this room next year and to watch them grow. ā¤
