We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news with you—Thingz From Yaad will officially open for takeout and delivery starting Tuesday, January 7! 🎉

From our flavorful Jerk Chicken to the iconic Ackee & Saltfish, and those irresistible Jamaican Patties, we got you!

Here’s what you need to know:
📍 Where: 2026 Williston Road, South Burlington
⏰ Winter Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am - 6 pm.

As we approach the final stretch of our campaign, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all who have contributed. I am so excited about Thingz From Yaad's future, and I cannot wait to welcome you all to our new space for some delicious food.

We have been deep cleaning our new kitchen and upgrading some equipments, painting a few spots and getting everything all ready for inspection.

The kitchen will be open for takeout and deliveries first while we prepare the dining room for its opening in early spring.

We are a step closer to having our Jerk Aioli on the shelves.

We will be moving in at 2026 Williston Road in about two weeks, and I cannot wait to take you along for the ride. Thingz From Yaad Kitchen will be moving into the former Donwwori Korean Restaurant. We will extend into the additional space to create a cozy, fun Jamaican-style cafe-themed restaurant. This multi-use space will serve 2 -3 nights a week as a full-service restaurant, event and hosting space, cooking class, and more. We can't wait to take you along for the ride. 🌟 I’m SO excited to share that Thingz From Yaad is taking a huge step forward with a new brick-and-mortar location in South Burlington, VT! 🎉 Your support over the past couple of years has allowed me to celebrate the vibrant flavors of Jamaica right here in our Vermont community, and I can’t tell you how much that has meant.

I’m launching a crowdfunding campaign with .co to secure our new space and purchase the equipment needed to continue serving you the bold, authentic Jamaican dishes that make Thingz From Yaad special.
