Hello south towns residents! After lengthy discussions with our employees and dozens of customers we believe we have arrived at a manageable format to keep the most popular items at the market available to you while cutting out products that you felt were less important. We also needed to cut our hours of operation considerably to reduce expenses, especially payroll.
This means we are now less of a convenience store and more of a cafe’, open every weekend for breakfast, lunch and Friday dinner including our locally famous fish fry, and a full time catering business.

We will continue to tweak and adjust as necessary but below are our new hours of operation for the time being:

Monday thru Thursday: Closed
Friday Open from 3pm - 7pm
Saturday/Sunday Open from 8am - 3pm

We will offer a smaller version of our current menu while we’re open on the weekends, from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon, but we’ll continue our coveted haddock FISH FRY, pizza, soups, sandwiches, baked goods and of course our homemade POT PIES!
We’ll be very focused on our full breakfast menu, including omelettes, home fries, French toast, pancakes and all sorts of great breakfast offerings; eat-in or take-out.
We will continue to offer takeout dinners and desserts for HOLIDAYS!
We’ll also continue to cater any size party from 15 to 300+ whether a simple drop-off or full service!

And YES, we will still have all the outrageous football specials whenever the Bills have a game, including .85 wings and large pizzas for $14 (check post from last week). We will also continue to offer an extensive beer selection in our BEER BARN, including many IPAs, crafts & all your local and imported favorites, plus snacks, dips and all the game-day food that you love!

We continue to listen and reconfigure our business to what the local residents are asking for. We hope that this new format pleases you while giving us the ability to keep our doors open.

Happy November Colden and the Southtowns! There are some major changes in store for the Market beginning Monday so we’d like to walk you through them to avoid any confusion. As of Monday, November 7th:

The retail part of the store will close.
That means we will no longer offer groceries, beer, to***co products, lottery, snacks, health products, gifts etc.
The prepared food “to order” part of the store will close.
That means we will no longer offer pizza, subs, wings, sandwiches, fish fries etc. to order.

We WILL continue to cater any size party or event!
We WILL continue to offer holiday dinners & homemade desserts!
We WILL continue to make homemade soups, baked goods & pot pies!

We are still finalizing our new store format but will likely be open on weekends with ready to go soups, baked goods & pot pies. However you CAN pre-order any of our homemade foods for pick-up 7 days a week. 716-941-3333 A pre-order menu will be available very soon.

Hello southtowns! I was challenged to make a new and exciting meatloaf! Yes, really!
So being an overachiever I made 2. Both with BBQ, and both fun!

The first is made, and drizzled all over with traditional barbecue sauce & bacon! The second is our special honey hot! It’s a little sweet from the honey with a bit of a kick and also topped with bacon and a honey BBQ drizzle! Yummy!

Hello Colden and the southtowns. We hope you all had a nice Easter. We have a number of things to talk about so let’s get right to it….

First, Lent is over but you can still get a great haddock fish fry! Every Friday we serve our coveted fish and shrimp dinners. A generous piece of haddock (beer battered or broiled), French fries or baked potato w/sour cream, plus coleslaw, Mac salad, rye bread/butter tartar & lemon all for $14.49.
Our beer battered shrimp dinner with all the fixins is just $1 more.

Weekend Meatloaf Special! Friday thru Sunday, or til we’re sold out, we’re serving our homemade dinner with big slice of meatloaf w/gravy, twice baked potato, sweet corn, roll & butter, all for $12.99

Our “Market to Home” freezer has been restocked! We got caught up after Easter and filled the freezer with all sorts of your favorite homemade meals. There’s goulash, Mac n cheese, stuffed shells, meatloaf, chicken parm, Italian sausage, sloppy joes and many more to choose from. So even if the kitchen is closed, you can have a homemade dinner in minutes!

We know this is last minute but so many folks have asked us for Easter dinner that we decided to offer one for take-out.

You can order a delicious honey-glazed ham dinner with au graten potatoes, sautéed green beans, maple/brown sugar sweet potato casserole, roll & butter for just $16.99 (add a side salad for $3)

We also have numerous, fresh-baked desserts. Carrot cake, cannolis, placek or fresh baked fruit pies, to name a few. For pies we have, cherry, blueberry, apple, peach & strawberry/rhubarb.
