Hurricane Helene has caused significant damage, leaving so many WITH NOTHING, homeless and in urgent need of assistance.

Essentials

Joe and I just delivered to North Wilkesboro Speedway and they are so grateful for our donations! I spoke with the lady in charge and asked what are the items of most importance right now for our truck next Saturday and here is the list she gave me: wood stoves with cooktops, cast iron skillets, buddy heaters, heavy duty CANVAS tents as people will literally be living in these over the winter, cold weather temperature rated sleeping bags, blankets are ok but the sleeping bags are preferred, hot hands hand warmers, laundry pods not liquid, t poles, shovels and heavy duty garden rakes, not leaf rakes, empty spray bottles for mixing bleach and water, Gatorade singles packs to mix in water bottles, and protein bars. Also, they have lots of dog and cat food but really need livestock feed now, and hay.
If you can purchase any of these items and donate next Saturday October 26th between 9am-5pm it would be wonderful! Help us fill this trailer with these much needed items!
Just to give you an idea of the widespread devastation, they literally just found a whole other area this past week that no supplies have been given. Letโ€™s do our best and bless these people who need our help. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผโค๏ธ

We offer self-serve wood bundles for camping ($7) and full loads ($70, with pickup only and extra delivery charges based on mileage). We also have ornamental pumpkins ($2-$10), dried corn decor ($4), and gourds ($0.50 each). You can order pie pumpkin arrangements ($20) in advance or schedule a class at AFT, which includes all supplies.

My Passion

I had no idea I would or could be a designer, I will give credit to my teacher who taught me to design. But I give myself the most credit for always asking questions, never giving up on myself, and staying dedicated to learning as much as possible. I ran a floral shop for many years. Customers were my number one priority , โ€œand always will beโ€. their design needs were what I craved. I loved creating out of the box designs, being tested to create something I had never done before. I loved the rush of not knowing what was coming to the creative mind next! It was like I was made for this job, customers needs came before my own. I cried when they cried, I laughed when they laughed, what the customer was picturing in their mind, I made come to life in a design. I broke a way from the flower shop I ran for almost 12 years and went out on my own, seeking more from the floral business. I started with a conversation with my daughter that has a bachelors in business, some business cards and our much needed Facebook business page and started doing weddings. My wonderful husband built me a floral shop on our property, so I could continue to do what I love. My customer base came in quickly, old customers became new again. Now I am a full service florist, Deliveries, Funeral work, Prom, Weddings & Rentals, everyday arrangements. I have never felt so wonderfully blessed with my family & business. Thank you to each & everyone that supports my business. We appreciate all of you!
