Thank You for a Great Army-Navy Game Day!

Yesterday, we had an amazing time at American Legion Post 217 cheering on the Army-Navy game! A big thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this iconic rivalry and support our veterans.

Together, we raised funds through the football pool fundraiser for the Department of Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service (VAVS) and collected Christmas gifts for the veterans at Charlotte Hall Veteran Home. Your generosity is making a difference this holiday season!

Special thanks to everyone who brought a gift, shared a meal, and helped make the day a success. Stay tuned for more events at Post 217, and let’s keep the spirit of giving and camaraderie going strong!

On this day, we remember the events of December 7, 1941—a day that lives in infamy. We honor the bravery and sacrifices of those who faced unimaginable horror during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Their courage and resilience continue to inspire us as we strive to ensure their legacy is never forgotten.

Today, it was heartening to reflect on this solemn occasion with our fellow members at American Legion Post 217. A special thanks to our veterans for leading the way and to everyone who joined us for a delicious lunch and camaraderie. Together, we keep the memory alive and honor our nation’s heroes. 🇺🇸

We had an unexpected visitor join us for dinner tonight! 🦉 This beautiful Barred Owl decided to stop by and steal the spotlight for a moment. Nature always finds a way to amaze us!

And speaking of amazing, Chris Hall + Heroes & Friends rocked the house with their incredible performance tonight. 🎶 A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support live music and enjoy a great evening together.
