A request of MRA Alums from the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame Exhibits and Collections Coordinator Megan Winterfeldt:
Dear Miss Rodeo,

I’m reaching out to tell you about a wonderful program that the Hall of Fame is working on. Since 2016, we have been collecting oral history interviews from our honored members, former Miss Rodeos, and any others closely connected with the World of Rodeo.

I will be in Las Vegas during the National Finals Rodeo (December 3rd through December 12th) to conduct these interviews. If you are coming to any of the Finals Events and would like to participate in this valuable program, please call me at 719-528-4754 to set an appointment time. The interviews last between 30-45 minutes. The questions focus on your time as a rodeo queen which I can provide to you before the meeting. The videoed interviews will be placed on the Hall of Fame’s digital database for viewing by the public. Snippets of the videos will be integrated into the displays at the Hall.

Please consider helping the Hall of Fame with this project.

MRA ALUMS: If you plan to attend the MRA Pageant Fashion Show on Friday, Dec. 6th, here are two opportunities just for you:
1. Alumni Reunion is PRIOR to the Fashion Show this year from 10- 11 am in the Grand Ballroom Foyer of the South Point Hotel.
2. State titleholders with year ending in FOUR, i.e. 1954, 64, 74, 84, 94, 2004, 2014 -- you will be introduced on stage during the fashion show.
RSVP required by Nov. 15th to Jeana Linton at [email protected]. Must be a fashion show ticket holder to participate in stage introductions.

Joining us in Vegas this year? Please note the alumni reunion will be held PRIOR to the fashion show instead of afterwards.
Mark your calendar for Friday, Dec. 6th at 10am to join us for coffee prior to the MRA Fashion Show, which begins seating at 11 am.
We will be in the grand ballroom foyer this year!

So sorry to hear about Tammy.

The Lord called Montana's one-of-a-kind cowgirl and former Miss Rodeo Montana, Tammy Pate home.

Miss Rodeo Montana, Inc would like give our sincerest sympathies to her many loved ones. Her profound legacy lives on in each one of you. We will continue to honor her as we all live with Cowgirl Spirit in the best of ways.
