This weather has us wanting more warmth and sun kissed skin.

Spring is just around the corner and we cannot wait for the spring blooms and warmer weather.

We love when couples customize and personalize the vision they want for their wedding day shots. Make sure to gather a box of your details 1 week out to your wedding day. Last year we got to collaborate with our great friend tag teaming a micro wedding at the beautiful and captured by the talented

Now let’s talk lounge area! This concept is becoming more and more used for spaces and guest to socialize, especially for cocktail hour or during the reception. Consider asking your venue if they have furniture options in their decor closet and if this is included in your package. Many rental companies have this option as well and can help piece together what furniture or decor would look great with your overall style of your wedding and event day.

Your guest will also love the thoughtfulness and intention of having an area to sit during cocktail hour and the reception.

You can also use this as a beautiful backdrop for your guest to take photos for your event day and add fun pieces that will make it all come together ✨

My name is Crystal and I am the founder & owner of CM & Co. Today we celebrate our 1 year anniversary since we launched this business. We are so grateful for all the support from our vendor community that has made an impact on this brand.

I would love to share a short message on this day as we shift our vision for the coming years.

The dream of CM & Co will focus on cultivating micro weddings & destination elopements for our couples who desire an intimate soirée with assistance in design & styling. We will continue serving our local community as we love any reason to celebrate 🎉

Happy New Year to all of our friends and couples 🥂

We took a little break away for the holidays, but we are back and ready to get to work with big goals and dreams for 2023 ⚡️

We have some exciting news! CM & Co will be working with for business coaching in order to continue to grow and invest in our couples and vendor relationships. We are thrilled to learn more and be educated when it comes to the wedding industry and how we can better serve our clients.

CM & Co also turns 1 this month 🪩 and all your support and encouragement means the world in order for us to keep going and doing what we love most 🤍

Life Update: I got married!

We had an incredible wedding weekend with friends and family out here in Colorado. When we started the wedding planning process we wanted it to be fun and not stressful. And we really stuck to it!

Until about 3 weeks out when I had my breakdown (I think every bride has one?) when I realized that we had done A LOT ourselves but it would be nice to have some extra help. Because even if we knew we could manage everything ourselves, that didn’t mean that’s where our time should be spent. I wanted to enjoy our day and not be worrying about every little detail.

I communicated this to my partner (now spouse!) and we assessed our options and very last minute we hired a coordinator. We were proud of the work we had accomplished up to that point AND we knew that having a resource to help with organizing everything the day of our wedding - setting things up, keeping us on track, answering any questions that came up - would be extremely helpful. And it WAS! Our coordinator Crystal was amazing. While there was some up front work to get Crystal up to speed, it allowed us to be relaxed on our wedding day because we knew she was taking care of things. Wish we had done it sooner!

Looking back I realized how helpful working with a wedding coordinator was, and I think there are a lot of similarities when it comes to financial planning.

The clients I work with are smart, busy, and often times organized people. I meet with them and partner with them to make sure that their goals and vision are represented and executed efficiently. Many of them have done a lot of work on their own already and I meet them where they are at and help them stay on track. And sometimes, when things don’t go according to plan and you pivot.

Just like our wedding planner’s goal was to make sure our vision was executed, my goal is the same for my clients. Because even if you CAN do something on your own, does it align with how you WANT to spend your time?
