Save the Date: The Dedication of the New Pikes Peak Honor Bell
Monday, November 17 | 2:00–3:30 PM
Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center

Join us as we celebrate this momentous occasion—the dedication of the new Pikes Peak Honor Bell. After years of vision and determination, the community came together to raise the funds that brought this dream to life. The Bell will primarily serve Pikes Peak National Cemetery and will also be available for honors ceremonies throughout the Southern Colorado region.

In case you were curious, our spot for the new Female Veterans Monument has already been designated and reserved. Right next to the flag pole, and across from the enterance at the Veterans Memorial Park in Colorado Spring!

This year's Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade is on Saturday, 8 November.

The PFC Floyd K Lindstrom American Legion Post 5 Auxiliary will have a brunch at the post starting at 8 am and after the parade is our annual Veteran Owned Small Business and Vendor Open House.

A busy couple of days! Madam President Rachelle & Madam Vice President Tammy had the honor of meeting ALA National President, Pam Ray. American Legion Auxiliary Unit 209 hosted a delicious dinner and a poignant 9/11 ceremony. Then the gals (and guy) of Unit 5 hula’d the night away at our End of Summer Luau. Doing life with ALA is simply the best!

Steak Night is this Friday, July 25th. In addition to our regular steak night activities we’ll be auctioning off a gift certificate for a round of golf for four people at the Broadmoor Golf Club.

The Broadmoor Golf Club is consistently ranked among the best in the world and has hosted the U.S. Women's Open, U.S. Senior Open, and PGA Cup Matches.
