Literally within the first five minutes of meeting Silas I asked him if I could photograph his proposal. I didn’t expect much to come from it- I had just met the guy, he was moving here from Oregon and Kendyl was back home. So, naturally, I made it awkward trying to convince him to bring her out here to propose and I went home thinking I should just not be allowed to talk.

Fast forward a few months and Silas texted me saying he was ready to propose! He planned every single detail and arranged for Kendyl to come out here. Silas even made this gorgeous arch. And let’s just take a moment for that ✨ring✨Like whattttt. Obviously, she said yes!

Surprise proposal has been on my photography bucket list for a while. Thank you and for making this dream a reality ❤️

The Redwood Forest has always been on my bucket list. But I had no idea how much more it would mean to me to see it with my babies. That awe and wonder in their eyes is forever imprinted in my mind. Wouldn’t trade those memories for all the freedom in the world.

I was slapped

In the face last week by reality. I had just come home from an amazing trip to Boston to visit friends, shred , shoot a beautiful couple at the seaport, and then bam. Reality. Two very sick kids that quickly became two very sick kids and a sick mama.

This week we are slowly recovering and trying to get back into a routine. I have so many incredible photo shoots to post. And so many exciting shoots coming up. Can’t wait to see what the rest of 2023 brings.

I can still remember the way I felt playing my last game senior year. At 17, I had spent most of my life dedicated to one position in one sport. I played year round. I practiced year round. I practiced when I wasn’t at practice. I watched it on tv. I talked about it. I lived it. And then, it was over.

I walked into this session with those feelings on my mind. Talking with Tyler, I could tell he was feeling them too.
