A few tips for Senior Photography!
Personalize the Session:
Incorporate elements that reflect the senior’s personality, hobbies, and interests. Whether it’s a favorite sport, instrument, or location, these details make the photos more meaningful and unique.
Choose the Right Time and Location:
Golden hour, just after sunrise or before sunset, offers the best natural lighting for outdoor shoots. Select a location that complements the senior’s style, whether it’s a park, urban setting, or a favorite hangout spot.
Encourage Outfit Variety:
Suggest bringing multiple outfits for the session. A mix of casual, formal, and personalized clothing (like a school jersey or favorite outfit) adds variety and allows for different looks and moods in the final photos.
Make Them Comfortable:
Create a relaxed atmosphere by chatting and playing music they like. The more comfortable and confident they feel, the more natural and authentic their expressions will be, resulting in better photos.
Capture Candid Moments:
In between posed shots, keep your camera ready for candid moments. These spontaneous captures often reveal the senior’s true personality and can be some of the most treasured images from the session.
