Brought three outfits to my branding shoot, and naturally, outfit #3 ended up being my favorite — the one that truly reflects what I wear to photo sessions: joggers, a comfy crew neck, my trusty bag, and sneakers made for walking.

I’m so grateful I ran into and realized she was available to capture these for me. 🫶🏻💛 It felt full-circle — the last time she photographed me was six years ago in this exact spot. Savannah is truly the people’s photographer — warm, kind, fun, and full of energy. We’re actually teaming up for several sessions this summer, and I couldn’t be more excited.

As a photographer and a mom, I’m usually behind the camera, documenting my family’s moments. 📸 So getting ready for the camera myself doesn’t happen often — but this felt right and intentional. If you’re in a similar season of life, carve out the time when you can. It’s so worth it to exist in your own photos.

Here's a little secret: wear something that feels like YOU - but a little elevated. Think timeless over trendy, and neutrals or soft colors over neon, and focus on textures that photograph beautiful (like denim, linen, knits) Layers and accessories can add variety without feeling overdone!🧣⁠

Getting this Class of 2026 Senior Rep Team underway has been a joy! This team is bringing so much energy and personality to their shoots, and I can't wait to continue working with them throughout their senior year!

There are 15 seniors from various high schools in Colorado Springs (and Denver.) In addition to their individual and group photos together, we're also planning a bunch of social events and activities together, so we're bound to get to know one another well and have a ton of fun!

Wishing all the rising seniors an amazing summer -- and don't delay reaching out as June/July/August are getting pretty packed with sessions!

J & P | 5.25.25 🤍🪩💍🤠💃🏼🕺🏻🎉🍾

It’s actually incredibly challenging to put into words what this day was like to photograph. When Jasmine moved to Denver several years ago we met up for coffee and although it had been YEARS since we had seen each other it felt so familiar, as if we were just picking up where we left off but with so many more life experiences to share.

I then had the honor of meeting Phillip several years later and capturing their one-of-a-kind In-and-Out/Whatburger 🍔 followed by Garden of the Gods engagement session. As we settled into their engagement session, I knew the stars ✨ had aligned and these two were just meant to be together.

Incredible match, incredible people, two people who you truly cannot get enough of and it was clear from their entire wedding party 🎉 and guests they make everyone in the room feel so seen, heard, and loved.

Add to it, some of the people at the wedding I hadn’t seen since we graduated high school 17 years ago, and some of which I go back even further with to kindergarten, it was just wildly fun and nostalgic. 🥹

To add, I told my second photographer when I hired her to photograph this wedding with me that it was going to be SO much fun. She said she had never been to a wedding that exuded so much joy and happiness. 💛

I have no idea how to choose my favorites, but here is the first attempt at the sneak peeks.
