As the sun began its ascent into the sky, casting a warm golden glow over The Barn at Raccoon Creek in Littleton, Colorado, I couldn't help but be captivated by the beauty of the day. It was as if nature itself was celebrating the love that was about to unfold.
In the cozy bridal suite, the bride reveled in the excitement of the day. Surrounded by her loved ones, she was a vision of happiness and anticipation. The air buzzed with laughter, echoing through the room like the melody of a perfect love song. And as she gracefully slipped into her exquisite dress, a masterpiece from the Blue Bridal Boutique, she radiated pure elegance.
Meanwhile, in his loft, the groom prepared for the momentous occasion. With meticulous care, he straightened his tie and groomed his beard, ensuring he was at his absolute best. The look of determination and love in his eyes mirrored his commitment to embarking on this lifelong journey with his beloved.
The ceremony took place on the lush green lawn, beneath the gentle shade of a magnificent maple tree. Its branches seemed to reach out as if to embrace the couple, providing a leafy canopy under which they would exchange their heartfelt vows and precious rings. And as their lips met in a tender kiss, it was as though the very earth held its breath, witnessing the beginning of their forever.
As day turned into night, the celebration continued under the starlit sky. The joyous gathering relocated to an enchanting outdoor patio, where the energetic beats by Yan from My Elite DJ filled the air. Laughter mingled with the melodies, creating a symphony of happiness that resonated deep within every guest's soul.

Mackenzie and Bryce Wedding Day | 4.29.23
One of the more popular places for a destination wedding here in Colorado Springs is the always incredible Cheyenne Mountain Resort. It has tons of space and rooms and is nestled perfectly in front of the mountains offering some great mountain views.
Bobbie and her team are always easy to work with and make every event feel special for the clients and their families. We're honored and humbled to continue our relationship as preferred vendors with this beautiful venue and resort.
As for the wedding day of Mackenzie and Bryce... Though I was not able to go personally (due to my dumb broken leg), I did shoot their engagement and got to know these 2 amazing people and a little about their story so far... And they're awesome. So if you get a chance to be their friend, do it.
So I was not at the wedding, however, I did get to re-live the wedding day through the eyes of my video team and in the editing process of this video. So here's my cliff notes run down of Mackenzie and Bryce's wedding day...
Beautiful bride... And I mean stunning... She's getting ready with a small set of her best friends in a huge suite. Sharing a few emotional moments with her mom and grandma. Then, once hair and makeup are finished, she gets on the wedding dress from Watters... Looks amazing of course, and reveals her completed look to her bridesmaids who also look amazing in their floral-patterned dresses.
Jump to Bryce getting on his suit from Jos. A. Bank with a floral tie, and his watch from Fossil looking ultra dapper (yes, I said ultra dapper). He looked a little nervous but also confident and proud walking into the day ahead of him.
Next, we're at the ceremony, and a group of guys carrying beers and purses are walking through the lawn for some reason... Yep, this happened and it's in the video. A heartfelt ceremony in front of Cheyenne Mountain was only outshined barely by Mackenzie's ginormous flower bouquet... It was beautiful... and also very large... Now I know Mackenzie is

A long long time ago we started doing $1 engagements as a way to offer value to our clients before spending any money or lock into a wedding contract before working with us.
This simple (yet scary) service has led to some of our greatest adventures... The wedding of Gia and Jacob is a perfect example of that.
For $1 we shot their engagement in Colorado Springs. We started at their house for a cookie fight and ended at Bear Creek Park for sunset. Throughout the day they told us about their wedding plans in California... "Getting married on a beach and then having the reception on a yacht cruising around the harbor."
Sound amazing? Well, it was! And we were there to capture the whole adventure.
The team and I flew to California and met the ladies at the beachfront house in Newport Beach in the morning. We shared a first look and vow exchange on the sand with the waves crashing at their feet. Then went to South Beach at Crystal Cove for a beautiful ceremony on the beach during the very first part of sunset.
From there we headed to Paradiso Yacht to enjoy a nice meal and dancing while cruising around the Newport Harbor. The sunset was one of the brightest orange sunsets we've seen in a while and filled the sky and reflection with so much color.
Just an amazing experience from start to finish... And it all started with a simple $1.

California Montage
Last November we had the privilege of flying into California to shoot the wedding of Gia and Jacob at Newport Beach. This is a quick montage of the footage as I sorted it while starting the edit.

Lindis and Sam Engagement
We use our engagement sessions as opportunities to teach videography and photography to the people we work with as second shooters or those individuals we mentor.
This one was filmed by Keith during Lindsi and Sam's engagement shoot up Old Stage Road toward Cripple Creek. Then we edit the footage to make a fun video from the day.
We almost rescheduled due to the rain but it worked out as the rain at the beginning created colors that popped with a little mood from the clouds. Then toward the last stop, the sun blasted through the clouds and made for a nice sunset.
This was also the first time getting back into the mountains after breaking my leg. There's at least one clip of me on crutches in this video... Fyi... Crutches are much more difficult hiking around in the mountains and in the mud... Definitely not trail-rated and probably not doctor-approved.

This is the wedding I (adam) was at in RMNP at Della Terra Mountain Chateau along with Sunshine and Tim.
The loved shared between these two is unique and special in every way and they wear their love out in the open.
From the 4-mile hike up a mountain to nearly 14,000ft for their engagement (along with the pitch-black walk back to the car) all the way to the last private dance on the patio... This was a wonderful adventure the entire way through.
Kate comes from a long line of related clients starting way back to the beginning of Epoch Moment and it has been an honor to capture this group of friends, family and co-workers throughout the years.
