Grateful for the opportunity to represent Columbia as Regional Support on the 2024 Yellow Brick Road Tour! I’ll joining a insanely talented lineup of local and regional artists, and I’d just love to see y’all come out and enjoy some damn good electronic music with us 🤜🤛

Shoutout Eric Noble for organizing this tour to showcase up and coming local and regional artists! It’s been inspiring to see artists from all over the nation participating and supporting each other in these events. I think that’s freakin cool.

⏮️ Rewind ⏮️ A year ago, I had the opportunity to perform at the Yellow Brick Road Tour for a spot on the 2023 Dancefestopia lineup. That event was my first true electronic music show 🥹

That event also had me feeling like I needed to decline my spot on the lineup because of some serious imposter syndrome 🤡

I am so so so thankful for the encouragement and support from my people to say yes and perform anyway. It lead to awesome networking and more growth as an artist than I could have ever imagined in just one year.

💫 Lesson learned: Ya ain’t gonna grow if ya don’t embrace feeling uncomfortable!

🤍 THE JOURNEY CONTINUES 🤍

Officially navigating the path to produce music that represents my perspective of this life.

I am starting this experience by learning music theory and how to use Ableton to create sounds. I’m super excited for this process.

I have tossed around the idea of music production since I began DJing a few years ago. The timing just never felt right. I needed time to understand how other artists expressed themselves through their music. My ears began the transition from passive to active listening. I began noticing layers of sounds, mood, melodies, and the flow of energy throughout a song. In doing so, it helped inspire the kind of energy I want to share through music.

I am inspired by nature and organic sounds, drums, bass, grooves and rhythms, marching bands, vocals, synths, and human emotion and spirituality. Not sure what styles or genres these influences will lead me toward, but I’m gonna figure it out. Or make my own I guess 😂

If you’re still reading, thanks for being here. It’s been neat feeling connected with y’all through this time of my life. Hoping to continue to share that sense of connection and inspiration with you through what’s to come next 🤍🎶
