Our four season glass greenhouse venue offers heat and air condition, bathrooms, a kitchen area and a bridal room for all of those precious moments.
My helper that was setting up for an event today found a weak little hummingbird that was trapped in the Parlor while I was out. She ran to the house and made up some sugar water and saved his life. I’m so glad I have like minded people around who will stop to save a little life. The set up will get done just the same. 🙂

HAPPY ENGAGEMENT SEASON. We are booking for 2024-2025 now! Message us for questions, or to book a tour. $1,900 for a two day wedding rental including tables and chairs for 100 people of less. This is a great rental option for those who want rehearsal dinner and day of events on the same property!

Floral class was good for the soul tonight even
tho it was hotter than you know what. We talk about happiness, growing and arranging flowers, giving yourself grace, medicinal plants, and how to make your own medicine straight from nature. It was a great night!

I planted late, I didn’t start anything in the greenhouse this year, bc we didn’t have one.
I lost 1/2 of my zinnias to disease, and then part of my order was wrong- they gave me a short variety of zinnias and I didn’t realize it until they were blooming. I planted when it was hot and sooooo dry, so I lost a variety of flowers to lack of water. I planted less than I normally do anyway this year and now the wild prickly amaranthus is about to kick my butt it’s taking over so fast. I say all this to remind you, and myself- that you get the season you need. A flower friend once told me that and I’ll
never forget it. I’m not a “God only gives you as much as you can handle” person. God has given me things I couldn’t handle, I didn’t handle, I just kept going bc I didn’t have a choice. (I’m a very happy person, but sometimes life is hard, loss is hard, change is hard) I have been so scattered the last couple of years when it comes to my flowers, but I still find joy in them. I can’t stop them. I’m in love with them. Sooooo, this is my season where I still have one foot in, but I have my other foot and my arms in something else… and that’s ok. Every season is different. Whether it’s growing flowers, navigating motherhood, new jobs, grief, whatever…. You just go with it. Next year could be the same, or I could go bigger than I ever have. I’m still proud of my hard work, and as always in awe of God’s creation.

UPDATE: SOLD -Just finished up cutting and arranging 5 beautiful Summertime arrangements for a customer. I had stems left for one extra. Here is it! $30. This is a medium to large arrangement and it is full! - Blue hydrangea, celosia, lime light hydrangea, snapdragon, gladiolus, rudabeckia, cosmos, lemon verbena, mint, oak leaf hydrangea, purple salvia, love in a puff, Queeny lime zinnia.

This intimate wedding last night was so sweet. There is something so perfect about Christmas trees, wedding decorations and Whitney Houston that go so well together. 😂💚🎄
