Kelly is a vibrant and dedicated Banquet Director here at Eclipse. Growing up in Fulton and being a 4th generation Tiger at MU, Kelly's journey to Eclipse was practically destined. Her Hospitality Management studies at Mizzou consistently highlighted local businesses, with the Atrium being a frequent mention. When the opportunity arose to join Eclipse, she seized it, and we’re so grateful she did! Kelly's professional background is impressive, including roles such as Banquet Manager for Eclipse, Event Chair and Executive Director for the MU Campus Activities Board, and internships at the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau, Fedora Pastry Lab in Florence, Italy, and AMADEUS International School and Festival in Vienna, Austria. So you're getting married! Congratulations! We all want a $100,000 wedding budget, but for most of us, we have to limit ourselves... But never fear! We've got you covered. We've put together a list of "worth it splurge items". Putting your cash towards the following on this list will give your wedding a million-dollar-feel at an affordable price tag. 💍 Invest in the right sized table linens. Round tables should have 132" round table linens and should touch the floor 💍 With florals, less is more! If you don't have a large budget for flowers that's okay! Opt in for minimal floral arrangements instead of purchasing faux flowers. 💍 Have a good DJ. This is a party, a DJ's job is to get people out on the dance floor and have a good time. Make sure your DJ understands what you are expecting at your reception. 💍 You don't have to have a plated meal to have a stellar party! Buffets are a great option. Ask our event teams how we can provide quick and efficient buffet lines. 💍 Have an open bar! Located in the heart of historic downtown Columbia, Missouri, The Atrium – originally built 120 years ago as the Powers Hotel – is filled with elegant details. The exposed ceilings, wood floors, curved staircase, and glass atrium (hence the name) make it one of Columbia’s most unique event spaces.
In addition to being the newest, The Atrium is also the second largest event space in Columbia, accommodating 450 seated and 600 cocktail guests. For your catering needs, bleu Events provides full-service, flexible catering for a variety of events. The Atrium’s loading dock makes it easy for bleu Events to wheel in your catering order into the event space. To top it all off, The Atrium gives you the option to have two full wet bars!
