This is not the typical post that is made and it comes with great humility and humbleness. We needs your help! Tim's Touch has been fortunate and blessed for 25 years in providing flowers plants wreaths incredible christmas decor and more. We have been a part of so many life events, births of children, Prom, birthdays, weddings, anniversary's, and the passing of loved ones, Mother's Day and Valentine's day and more. there have been 10's of thousands of flowers passed through the store. We are so grateful for the support you have given over the years
Our challenge is that for the last 4 months, there have been days that no orders went out, the phone didn't ring (we would check to make sure the phones were working. or it was only 1- 3 orders that left the shop. We have had days that no one visited the store.
Every week hundreds of dollars of fresh flowers were delivered to us, in anticipation of flower orders to be delivered. We don't have a crystal ball to know when someone is going to call or send a website order in. So making sure that there always was a great selection of the freshest quality flowers has been difficult. Then to have to throw them in the trash because they were past the what was acceptable to send out.
Those few orders and loss of product that still had to be paid for, not enough to sustain the store, pay the rent, utilities, insurances and other expenses for a small business of any kind.
The past year and more so, the past few months have been critical on so many local small businesses, even when we survived COVID, this year has been more difficult. Every business person that we come in contact with, talk with here and across the country, is struggling and having the same challenges.
There have been man prayers, sleepless nights and a lot of tears shed over this. At this rate - we will not be able to stay open for the long haul and we WANT to be here for your special times, but we need you not just on the holidays and life events but some Just because times throughout the year.
A friend asked if we had we listened to the scriptures - Ask and ye shall receive. And for many reasons, Tim didn't want to ask for help. The thought was things would pick up and be ok. But it hasn't
So we are asking for your help and support. Come in or order on the website and purchase some flowers or plants or items in the store. We miss seeing so many of our old friends .
Sometimes it's a great surprise for someone to receive flowers just out of the blue for no special reason would make such a difference right now We want to be here for Valentines and Mother's Day Prom and honor the life of a loved one or friend that has passed. . We would be so appreciative of the support and sharing this.
It seems Ironic that we just announced that for the 4th year in a row we were named BEST FLORIST in "THE STATE" This Please help us spread the word that we need your support - We want to be here for you!
