People often don't realize that some wedding days I walk over 20 miles. I'm typically the first vendor in and the last one out,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
it is a minimum of 10hrs on my feet. Sometimes I try to be cute and throw on some heels buts lets be honest, it's a physical job managing a wedding day, and it's not for the weak at heart. It’s not all dress holding, flower carrying, table setting, rainbow and butterflies. ITS HARD WORK but I love what I do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2021 was exciting, challenging, and also so much fun. I worked with some amazing couples and can not wait to see what 2022 brings!

Its no secret that sometimes these cuties steal the show at weddings. While we love an adorable flower girl, in this case three adorable flower girls, we have one rule and its a big one....the bride NEVER leaves without those cuties settled at the front. ALL EYES will be watching and waiting for her entrance.

I laugh sometimes when I think about all the things we actually do on the wedding day. Recently we have been interviewing for some additional day of staff and the pure look of disbelief on some canidates faces when we tell them what a typical wedding day looks like is amusing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Seat finder, flower holder, candle lighter, family wrangler, timeline genuis, flower girl escort....whew the list could go on. While we wear several hats on the wedding day the most important one we wear is our couple support hat. We are 100% there for our couples so that they can enjoy their day, even if that simply means helping their guests find their name on a seating chart.

Rachael was worth every penny helping our wedding go seamlessly. She's very upfront with pricing and considerate of budgets, gave me honest feedback when I asked for it and was behind the scenes making sure every detail of my day was going according to plan. If you know me at all, you know I can be a bit of a perfectionist. I love the details, and with wedding planning its so easy to get wrapped up in the details. Its my favorite thing to step back at the end of the day of the wedding day and look at the MESS!! That's right I said MESS, there's inevitably napkins on the ground, discarded drinks, candles that have burned out, maybe even a plates of half eaten cake. At that point those small details don't matter its the mood that you have created, are people laughing, dancing, or chatting it up with old friends. My point is even though its easy it get wrapped up in the details, at the end of the day its a small piece so don't stress! Make sure you take the time and create an environment where joy and laughter can take center stage and for goodness sake hire a planner who LOVES details to sweat the small stuff.
