Let's face it, the family photo part of a wedding day can sometimes feel like a marathon. But, fear not! We've got some nifty tips to help you breeze through those photos and get to your party! 🌟 Give 'em a Heads-Up: • Shoot a quick text or make a call to everyone involved in photos before the wedding day. • Let them know they need to stay immediately after the ceremony for photos. 🌟 Enlist a Photo Wrangler: • This could be a member of the wedding party or a friend who knows the family well. • You might need one person for both sides of the fam. • This MVP’s role is to gather the right everyone and make sure no one is missing. 🌟 Less Is More: • Don't go overboard with endless combinations. • Keep the shot list short and sweet. • Focus on capturing the most important groupings, and skip anything you think you’re “supposed to do” And a bonus tip is to make sure your parents are on-board with the photo plan BEFORE the wedding. Looking for ways to cut down on the time between your ceremony & reception? Here are 3 tips to get the most out of your wedding day timeline so you don't leave your guests bored. TIP 1️⃣: Do a first look you can get through all of your bride and groom photos, your wedding party photos, and maybe even your family photos if you guys just see each other before the ceremony. TIP 2️⃣: Limit the number of extended family photos you take Nobody's gonna need a photo with every single aunt, uncle, and cousin. And half the time, someone is missing anyway, which just wastes time on your wedding day. Limit family photos to your immediate family and grandparents, and everyone will be much happier. TIP 3️⃣: Plan sunset photos Plan a time to sneak away during your reception. Maybe it's during dinner or during dancing. Nobody's gonna miss you.
