It was a pleasure creating the soundtrack for the grand opening of ! It is the renovated laundry building for the former South Carolina State Hospital. Old drier drums are repurposed as light fixtures, and the acid-washed floor upstairs reveals the imprint of old metal hangers from many years ago! It’s such a cool place for an event - and it’s a great setting for our all white set-up. 😉

Lisa and Mark are the best husband and wife team out there! When we called them four days before our wedding to ask if they would be able to come to our new venue site, they were currently at a venue that was running off generators. They told us not to worry and that they would be there! Mark shows up and bring the atmosphere to your big day! Our venue said he was the best DJ they had ever had! Lisa runs the photo booth and is a joy to work with. If you want a professional, fun vendor, it’s them!

This past Saturday was Donny Zarate’s last gig with Hagan Williams DJ’s - and it was certainly bittersweet. Donny started hanging out with Hagan on some gigs about 4 years ago as a load-in helper, riding partner and bodyguard 😂. One day, a bride called and asked if we had a bi-lingual MC - well, as a matter of fact, we did know a guy 😬 👇. Donny helped us over the years with several bi-lingual events including weddings and quinceaneras. He learned how to help with wedding planning, the Photo Booth and even became a trusted “keeper of the mixer” when Hagan needed a break 😉. In short, Donny became an invaluable member of the team and we will all miss him, his spontaneous dances, his butchering of some English phrasing, and his hilarious, often slightly off center perspectives. But, we are so excited for him as he makes the big move to Nashville, and we are super pumped to be a part of his wedding in July (He will be the first HW employee to get married 🥳). We are so thankful our paths crossed - and we wish Donny and Lauren Deardorff the absolute best!!! Love you Donny!!!
