The Main House is an 8,000 square foot custom built traditional, southern style home available the day of your wedding for everything from bridal party preparations, bridal brunch, and wedding party photography
. The 4,300 square foot newly built barn is the ideal spot for your ceremony and reception, as it offers all of the amenities necessary for any special event all while maintaining its rustic charm. There is no grander entrance for a bride than coming around the 100 year old oak tree and walking down the cobblestone sidewalk to her groom. We also offer groom’s quarters on the property for wedding preparations with complementary lunch included. The attention to detail from the interiors to the grounds are sure to impress you and your guests on your special day. Surrounding the Main House & Barn are acres of pastures peppered with ancient oaks, horses, & cattle. The wooden rope swing hung from a giant oak is perfectly positioned as a viewpoint for guests to nestle into while still being able to take in the atmosphere of the reception. The City Farm also offers some wonderful items that add to the rustic charm of the barn’s authentic character. Included in the venue rental fee are custom built farmhouse tables, oak bourbon barrels, and strung café lights. We provide many other services at an additional cost which include coordinating, catering, DJ, rehearsal dinner, bridal tea, wedding showers, seating, table runners, vases, mason jars, lanterns, etc. The City Farm Venue & Events is family owned & located in the heart of Kentucky, convenient to all hotels, bed & breakfasts, restaurants, and major roads in Historic Columbia, including the Cumberland Parkway.
