Happy New Year from Serendipity!
We at Serendipity are so thankful for the great year we’ve had, and we can’t thank you all enough for supporting this small business! We’ve had so many great opportunities this past year, such as participating in the Unbound Book Festival, True/False, Everyday Goddess, Capital Camp, Main Street Summit, Living Windows, and many other community events. We celebrated our 3rd anniversary this summer with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and officially opened the Wellness Studios and Suites. We have greatly enjoyed hosting our own public events such as our Patio Concert Series (returning this spring!), Yoga in the Gallery, voter registration drives, Jazz Lunches, Artful Afternoons, and many more community-oriented gatherings. We are so thankful to have become a hit spot for First Fridays and love seeing old and new faces in the shop every month!
We love that we have become a staple gallery for both new and experienced artists to host their own solo shows at no cost and we are so thankful for all the amazing artists that have graced our walls this year (for a full recap of 2024 gallery artists, head to our website). We have also introduced many new artists to our gift gallery, to the point that we have had to expand the shop! We are so grateful to all our artists who have helped this place become what it is today.
We officially launched the Wellness Suites and Studios earlier this year, and by this January they are completely full! We have an amazing group of businesses working here at Serendipity all under the umbrella of wellness and relaxation. For more information about these businesses, keep scrolling or visit our website!
Looking back on this year, we are so thankful for how Serendipity has grown and become part of the downtown Columbia community. We are taking this month to plan out what is next for Serendipity, so stay tuned for the February newsletter where we will unveil all the new things coming in 2025, including art classes!
Thank you all again for helping contribute to what Serendipity is today, and we are so excited for what is next!

First Friday will still be happening this month, but we are taking a little break to relax after the holidays and prep for everything happening in 2025! If you haven't already, check out the many other businesses that open their doors for First Fridays, and we will see you guys in February!
Artful Afternoons
Join us for an all-ages afternoon of creativity and art-making! Bring something you’re already working on or borrow our supplies and use this time to create!

We are so happy that so many of you did your holiday gift shopping with us! We expanded our gift gallery a lot through 2024, adding many new amazing works of art and new artists! We are excited to keep adding to and expanding the shop this year. We have lots in store so keep an eye on our social media for all things Serendipity!
