It’s with a heavy heart that we are passing along the news of our friend and past CRC board member Dave Hill has passed away on Oct. 17, 2024.
Dave was a great man and friends to so many. There is a FB page created in his memory by his family that we are passing along.
Pat and Dave moved to Utah a few years ago then to Tucson, Arizona but would return to the area and surrounding states to say hi to everyone from year to year.
He will be missed. 😢🙏

Dave was known by many names and titles. Each name reflects a different chapter of his extraordinary life—a life full of purpose, resilience, and care for others. Every role he embraced left a lasting mark on those fortunate enough to cross his path and be loved by him—which was basically anyone...

Passing along some great news… Emma shows at CRC and qualified for PA National Horse Therapeutic class at CRC class in August. She won her class at the PA National show. Congratulations Emma!!!

TEAMWORK WORKS!
We are very appreciative of this very nice $25,000 grant from the United States Equestrian Foundation (USEF)! Helping equines affected by two catastrophic hurricanes that occurred within just a few days is an endeavor that we'll be involved in for months. Being able to fund the effort to keep these vulnerable animals fed and in good care is completely dependant upon contributions for others. Every dollar helps. Thank you, USEF!

What a great day for our last event at CRC this season ... Trail Challenge Play Day
So many CRC friends and a lot of new faces were at the play day. So much fun and watching everyone working with their equines to overcome the scary obstacles and the challenging obstacles. Building confidence with your equine partner and enjoying the day.
Thank you everyone who enjoyed all our Trail Challenges this season. We will definitely have then next year! 😀

What a fantastic and HUGE show we had on Sunday ... K.I.S.S. Spooktacular Open Fun Show
The costume class was another hit just like last year ... 32 entries in this class ... WOW it was so hard to judge this awesome class. We had 11 divisions winning trophies including the BEST costume.
Later in the day we had a kid's candy scramble ... they all got enough candy to last them a week (maybe 😁haha).

Thank you everyone for coming to the show and those that helped us with the gate and ring crew!!!

I know a lot of people have been seeing heartbreaking videos and pictures of the devastation that Hurricane Helene has caused. There is a lot of help for people that is happening but how can you help those with horses. If you would like to help, here are some reputable charities that are close to the action and helping.
If you know of others, please post in the comments.
We are all praying for the people and the animals to be safe! 🙏

Today was our last pleasure show for 2024 show season and after our opening ceremony, we remembered not only 9/11 with the Star Spangled Banner but also our friend Terry Helder who passed away May 25.
We unveiled a memorial plaque on our fence and said a few words. He is missed but we will remember Terry Helder! ❤️
