In honor of former President James Earl (Jimmy) Carter, Jr., President Biden declared Jan. 9, 2025, to be a National Day of Mourning and signed an Executive Order closing many agencies of the Federal Government on that day.

As a healthcare organization dedicated to serving our Veterans, your VA St. Louis Healthcare System will remain OPEN for patient care.

Outpatient clinics and scheduled procedures will continue as planned, and shuttle services and phone lines will be fully operational.

We are proud to provide world-class care for our nation's heroes. Thank you for choosing as your provider of choice.

Thanksgiving serves as a poignant reminder to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Jameson Miers, Alina St. Clair, Veronica Curtis, Georgia Curtis, Natalie Johnson, and Harvey Albers from the Columbia High School Key Club, sponsored by the Columbia Kiwanis, for their selfless volunteer work on Veterans Day, raking leaves at veterans' homes. Your dedication to supporting veterans and the Columbia community is truly commendable.
