Don't forget! Christmas Day and New Year's Day are two of the six holidays that affect the County's curbside trash, recycling, food scrap and yard trim collection program. As there will be no Wednesday collection the weeks of Christmas and New Year's, the County's holiday "slide" schedule will be in effect the remainder of those weeks, with Wednesday pickup taking place on Thursday, Thursday on Friday and Friday on Saturday.

Join us on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 for Jazz in the Mills with the Antonio Parker Group, featuring Sendy Brown, at the Other Barn in Oakland Mills, Columbia, MD.

Saxophonist Antonio Parker, a native son of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is known for his dynamic, energetic and virtuosic performances as well as his versatility in a variety of musical genres. His artistry is deeply rooted in the jazz tradition but incorporates a wide spectrum of musical influences. He is a visionary artist who has been performing nationally and internationally for over 20 years.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online (link is in the comments) or at The Other Barn. Tickets will be available for sale at The Other Barn starting later this week. The Other Barn is open Monday through Thursday, 10am-4pm. Please note, The Other Barn will be closed December 24th through January 1st for the holidays, so tickets will only be available online during these days.
