Hi everyone! We are here with big news from Team OhioKpopThings (OKT).

First of all, we would like to apologize for being so MIA and absent for the last month. We really needed a break from OKT activities, and we took full advantage. We should have been clearer about our break, and we apologize.

However, we are here to announce that we are taking an extended break. We do not have an end date at this time, but we will be back. After months of discussing, we (Maya & Destiny) have decided to take a step back from the Kpop event community to focus on their own lives. While hosting events and selling albums was great fun, it was a large financial and emotional effort on the part of the OKT Team. It was hard to do this for two years and have much going on in our personal lives that we could not focus on. As individuals who work full-time jobs and focus on events, it was overwhelming for us. As a result, we have decided to take a step back from this.

However, we will still be constantly promoting and updating yall aviut Kpop in Ohio. We want to continue being your source for KPOP in Ohio. So, please send us your events, news, and K-pop events, and we will share it for you. Let us know about all the K-pop in Ohio. Additionally, we will continue to host KPOP random play dances. We enjoy those as much as you do and want to make sure you have the opportunity to show your Kpop dance knowledge.

bowling night!

we are so excited to have our first K-pop bowling night. for $20, get bowling, shoe rental, and soft drinks covered. we will have freebies galore and albums for purchase!

we have divided the lanes into four teams: dance, vocal, rap, and leader. who would you be in your own K-pop group? choose your lane for the day...and your name will be the name of your fav idol with that position.

THERE WILL BE EXTRA PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS. But everyone receives freebies and goodies.

we only have 40 SPOTS to fill, so get yours if you can.

KPOP! PROM!

We are so so so excited that tickets are now LIVE for K-pop prom. We can confidently say we've never been so excited for an event. Please make sure to read ALL the details.

TICKETS:
You must purchase tickets before, we will not be offering at the door tickets. There is a LIMITED AMOUNT of tickets. Ticket sales will end April 18th, the day before prom, unless sold out. Tickets are only available online.
Link on story and in bio! We will ID everyone!

DRESS CODE:
It's prom. We definitely want you to dress up. This is your night to go all out. Things to remember, though: stay appropriate, be comfortable, and it will be warm. You do NOT have to dress up. We would love if you did, but we're okay if you don't as well.

LOCATION:
There is parking available, both a parking lot and street parking. We will have people who are willing to es**rt you to your car if you wish.

CONCESSIONS:
Drinks like water and mixed drinks (alcohol free) will be free. We will also have other concessionslile popcorn, etc. All proces will be $3 or less. We will accept Cash, Venmo, and PayPal ONLY.

PHOTO OPS:
We will have TWO photo ops. One is a photowall, where you can get photo strips courtesy of us. The other will be another photowall that you can take your own pictures at.

PROM ROYALTY:
We will be having PROM ROYALTY, and it's up to you. When you purchase your ticket, you will be sent a link along with your ticket. There, you will nominate your choices for KPOP IDOLS who deserve to be prom royalty. At the actual event, we will have our TOP SIX choices for you to take pictures with and vote for. We will crown our prom royalty halfway through the event. We will also have a dance performance to celebrate the event.

TRADITIONS:
We will have one or two slow dances, as is traditional. What this also means is that you are more than welcome to bring a date. This is 100% up to you. Come with a date, with friends, or by yourself, it'll be fun either way.
