When ’s appointment request came through, I saw she found us through which immediately made me giddy because who doesn’t love seeing ROI on their advertising. 🙋‍♀️

After chatting with Kristy a little bit more, we discovered two really amazing things. 1️⃣ I actually have known Kristy’s brother for over 20 years so I knew instantly we were going to be buds. 2️⃣ One of my designers had literally the exact style dress she was looking for.

I went to work getting a loaner sample of Sutton in for her appointment and sure enough it was perfect. ✅ A few customizations later, we popped that confetti! 🎉

That FIRST DRESS MAGIC and long time family connection led her mom to booking our signature ✨Wedding Day Dressing & Detailing✨ service. What a treat to be at her side all day! But the best part about working with Kristy was becoming beset gals throughout the process. 👯‍♀️ I loved that instead of check in calls, we always scheduled lunch or drinks. When your vision is a fairy tale, no detail can go unattended! 🏰 That’s why invested in our onsite steaming services for her entire collection of bridal and bridal party fashion- including her ceremony gown, reception dress, send off dress, the groom’s tux, the groomsmen’s tuxes, the mother of the bride’s dress, AND some over the top custom embroidered napkins carried during the cocktail hour. 😅

We arrived at The Kentucky Castle (yes, we travel!) on wedding day morning to make sure every garment looked perfect, and no one had to do a thing but sit back, relax, and celebrate. 🥂

I remember when the text came through. My heart BURST. ❤️ One of my fave of all time, Molly, told me that her sister, Annie, was starting to shop for a wedding dress and asked when they could get in for an appointment. 🙌🙌🙌

There is something about styling the sister of a former bride that gives me more joy than you could ever imagine. I just love seeing past brides again! But with it comes a lot of pressure. 😬 Making magic happen twice with the same family can feel like trying to beat the same team twice in a season. But, I had an immediate sneaking feeling that this gal was destined to be a Blue Willow bride. There was a dress that had JUST come out that I knew would be exactly what Annie was dreaming of. ✨ AND, I happened to be hosting the dress during a trunk show that was only here for a few more days, so we got her in ASAP. Sure enough - the second Williams sister said YES to Tucker and became a . Magic happened TWICE! 🎉

The styling didn’t stop there, though. After Annie’s YES, I made a home visit with the sample to make sure her mother’s veil would match the beautiful glow of her dress. ✔️ We found the perfect Anne Barge little white dress for Annie to rehearse in. I’ll never forget what she said about it, “this dress makes me feel like a bride.” 🥹 And of course, we did the alterations and prep on her gown, too! 🪡💨👗

Right after the wedding, Molly sent me some photos from the big day and just said, “You nailed it.” 💅 It makes me tear up literally every time I scroll back and see it. Being a small part of the Williams sisters’ wedding days has been one of the greatest honors of my bridal career. Maybe THE greatest. 🏆 I just couldn’t be more grateful for their trust that I would always help them look their very BEST on their wedding day. No greater feeling than that. 🙏

Oh Christina, the definition of Ultimate Gilded Bride. There has been no bride I’ve worked with who loved being a bride as much as Christina! 💖 Christina visited us on recommendation from one of our very favorite planners, Thyme & Details. She was looking for something specific, and I was just thrilled that this style was coming to my shop soon. 🔜 And by soon, I mean it arrived the DAY of her appointment and ONLY because I tracked down the UPS truck in downtown Columbus after we missed the delivery earlier in the day. 📦🥵

But it was worth it, because sure enough - Alba was it. ✅ Went perfectly with the cape she’d been dreaming of, too. She brought her crew back a couple days later to pop confetti, but that was just the beginning for Christina. 🎉 Christina styled so many parts of her wedding wardrobe with us. She got little white dresses and an amazing hairpiece, the coolest jacket for her bachelorette party, and used nearly every one of our services we offer. 🙏

One of the sweetest parts of being one of her vendors was being invited to a lunch she hosted before her wedding, just so she could hang with her team before the wedding. I could tell she had a special relationship with each of us, and how amazing is it that she wanted us all to feel that together with her, too?! 👯‍♀️ Becoming friends with brides is the number one thing I enjoy most about this business, so I couldn’t be more grateful for how Christina made me feel that day and always. 🥹

“Mary Ellen is the BEST! I had my dream Pnina Tornai gown that needed altering. It had specialty fabric and was extremely heavy since it was a large ball gown with a lot of underskirt and long train. She hemmed it perfectly and then made custom straps for me as well. The bustle looked flawless and let me dance around at the reception without a care in the world! Mary Ellen was just a dream to work with! Extremely knowledgeable and skilled!

YES! We have had brides from dozens of states and 7 countries purchase their wedding dress from us - either online, over the phone, or in person. 📦

Purchasing one of our online sample sale dresses for a SUPER steal? 💻 We recommend asking for photos of the dress and getting professional measurements to be sure of your size before you purchase. We want you to be confident in your pick!

Are you obsessed with one of our regular collection gowns, and it’s just not available in your area? 🙋‍♀️ We can help! We’re happy to coordinate your order over the phone and ship it to you when it comes in.

OR are you visiting us from afar? Don’t think you’ll make it back to pick her up? No sweat! We will figure out the best way to get your dress to you or store it for you til you CAN come in! 👗

There is always some risk involved with shipping the most expensive garment you ever buy - so we recommend that you have it shipped to somewhere you can sign for the package. ✍️ We always send it insured! Try it on right away, too. We’ll even Facetime with you when you do so we can explain how it needs altered, just like we would during our regular Meet the Dress appointment. 📱

Tanya went above and beyond to find the matching veil to my discontinued designer bridal gown. After being rejected by multiple bridal salons throughout the US, we found Gilded Social/Tanya who was able to reach out to the designer and have the discontinued veil handmade for us. Behind the scenes, Tanya worked tirelessly to make alternate arrangements to have the veil made when the original shop it was being created in shut down due to COVID. She made sure everything was in order for us to get the veil in time for the wedding despite these unforeseen circumstances. “Crisis averted! My daughter was faced with a wedding day emergency. Due to state mandates and new COVID restrictions, two of her three bridesmaids dropped out on Wednesday. Luckily we were able to find replacements. Tanya Hartman from Gilded Social saved the day! Tanya brought several dresses in the style and color of the original dresses and a sewing machine. The new women were able to pick a dress they liked and Tanya hemmed them for us. She brought a portable steamer and she made sure all the dresses including the bride’s dress were pressed and beautiful. During the picture taking, Tanya also made sure that everyone’s hair was in place and clothing hung perfectly. Sometimes photographers look for faces not being in shadows and that everyone is visible but they don’t have time to worry about hair and clothing.
