Not your average annual recap ⬇️

✨ What can I say - this year sucked. Sales were down by over 20%, and I hosted a lot of girls who just wanted to play dress up. But my approach to challenges has always been to innovate and add new things, so stay tuned for what’s new and improved in ‘25.
✨ Speaking of new things… menswear saved 2024. My menswear sales filled the entire gap left by bridal sales. Huge thanks to the incredible gals who brought their fiancés, husbands, and dads in to support my growing business.
✨ I need to better manage my time - including taking a little time off. I cannot live in survival mode forever, and it’s felt that way since 2020. I have got to take more breaks and recharge so I don’t get burnt out. You’ll see that change in our schedule in ‘25.
✨ It was time to say goodbye. We can’t do both special order and off-the-rack well, and that’s okay. We’re changing up our inventory to focus on our special order clients going forward. We also donated our LAST bridesmaids dresses this year.
✨ My two favorite Emilys got their gowns this year in ‘24. Our social media manager, Emily Walker, is getting married in March. Cannot WAIIIITTT. And this stunning gal, Emily Kujala, our day of fashion expert, got married in June! Swoon.
✨ The Gilded Bride Party is still a yearly favorite. We had a Summer Soiree this summer and a Cookie Exchange this winter - both were amazing and continue to make our Bride community the most unique there is.
✨ Shoutouts to those who held me up! This year could have nearly broken me if it weren’t for all of you. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart. Words can’t describe how grateful I am for those who endlessly support me and this business of mine, such as…

Our Gilded Events are seriously the highlight of my entire year. 🩷 I can’t get over how magical A Gilded Cookie Party was a couple weeks ago! 🍪 From festive treats to arts & crafts, it was a day filled with ear to ear smiles, personal connection, and a whole lotta laughter. 🎨

Each attendee painted two champagne bottles - one to keep or share, and one as a souvenir for a future Gilded Bride who books a Gimme All the YES! appointment. 🍾🍾

“I booked Tanya for her bridal day styling services. I did not have a large group of bridesmaids, just my one MOH, so I was a little worried about how my wedding day would do. I was also nervous because my mom gets very anxious and panicky. I needed someone in my corner to help me and make sure everything was in place. I am not a type A person and overlook most things. I also did not want my photographer to have to constantly make sure everything was looking put together - it’s just too much to ask of them. My dress was made out of several layers of soft tulle and was finicky about being fluffed. From the first phone call, I could tell Tanya was a bridal/wedding expert. She is a true professional that is so passionate about her work. We met the week before when I dropped my gown off for steaming, and she brought it with her to my venue. That alone was a lifesaver - just one less thing to worry about. When I arrived, my gown was already steamed and on the mannequin and my photographer was already getting detail shots. She not only helped me get dressed, but my mom and mother in law (they have bad knees lol). Tanya’s nemesis throughout pictures were the seemingly millions on leaves that were getting caught in my hem!!! I don’t know how many she had to get out...they were truly enemy number 1! I also noticed a huge difference between photos where I had Tanya to style me and after she left post-ceremony. My sunset photos have leaves galore in my hem, and my poor photographer did his best to fluff my dress, but my floral appliques just aren’t *quite* placed correctly. While I by no means am upset with the photos where I didn’t have Tanya - I just thought it was interesting that I NOTICED the difference, and I would have regretted it for our more formal photos. My dress just wouldn’t have looked it’s best, and I would’ve had a panic attack without Tanya to look to when I was being rushed around. I would recommend her for any of her services - bridal shopping, alterations, day of services, because she is a genuine, passionate person and truly goes above and beyond for every bride she works with!” -
