So, we are a bit late, but we do want to send out a big thank you to to all the acts who performed at the Seymour Eclipse Festival this past Sunday. All the bands were amazing and extremely talented and gracious. We want to take a moment to thank Tim Craig for providing the back line drum kit, and to January Rutherford and Chad Kiethley for organizing the whole thing and bringing us in to help. Some of you may know that our chief engineer suffered a serious hand injury recently and needed some additional assistance, for that we are extremely grateful for the love, help and support from 2 of our favorite humans, Harold and Angela Garland. The king and queen stayed all day and helped us with load in and load out. Doing something we love is great, doing something we love with people we love is just the best.

Just want to give a big shout out to Harold and Angela Garland from LOCAL OVERLOAD and what they do for bands...local bands... original bands! They go to shows every week, looking for talented artists to showcase on their radio show (which now has listeners from 44 other countries!!!)
Born out of a common love of music and just being fans, they do what they can to promote these bands....FOR FREE!!!! Let's get this going full circle for them and check them out on Thursday nights on Crossfire Radio! Give them a like on Facebook!
ALWAYS entertaining and they try to have a new band to interview every week!

Well, it's been a very slow spring for us here at Apex Sound and Lights, but what matters is that our friends stay safe and healthy. But as things begin to ease just a little we were happy and humbled to have the chance to get out there and work again; and what a show it was!! We were very proud to help our friends Harold Garland and his new bride Angela throw the mother-of-all weddings! Afterward Tetrasteed took over the stage and rocked it hard as they paved the way for the mighty Wrath! After having been out of work for a couple of months, this was a great way to get going again!

So the coronavirus has hit us where we live. We shall overcome. While the closing of bars and nightclubs has caused cancellations and loss of income, that is still better than the loss of life. I know that I, personally, take medication that suppresses my immune system, so I believe that this is the right thing to do. Even though I’m strong and fairly confident that I could recover, there is always the chance I could infect someone who couldn’t. So let’s pull together and help each other through this. Hopefully we’ll be back to rocking out before too long!! Peace y’all.
